Working closely with Hotel General Manager, the Executive Assistant Manager (EAM) in charge of Commercial Performance (Rooms Sales & F&B Events & Sales) in a hotel plays a crucial role in driving revenue and ensuring the hotel’s financial and business objectives are met. In the absence of the General Manager, EAM will take accountability on hotel’ operations. Here’s an outline of their scope of work:

How your day looks like:

Strategic Planning and Revenue Growth

• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue across all departments (rooms, food and beverage, events, etc.)
• Analyse market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns to adjust pricing and promotions
• Provide regular updates on sales performance, operational metrics, and financial results
• Collaborate with the Revenue Management and Sales teams to optimize pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies

Sales Oversight

• Work closely with the Sales Team as well as the Assistant Director F&B Sales & Events to ensure effective campaigns and promotions align with the hotel’s business goals
• Drive initiatives to attract and retain key accounts and business partnerships
• Evaluate the success of sales and marketing efforts and recommend improvements
• Working on a collaborative manner with Director of Revenue, Director of Marketing

Operational Leadership

• Oversee the performance of commercial departments (Sales, Events)
• Ensure alignment between operations and the overall commercial strategy of the hotel
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies that enhance profitability
• Special projects champion to elevate Guest Satisfaction and improvement of process
• Act as the General Manager’s Representative in their absence, providing strong leadership and decision-making support

Financial Performance Monitoring

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room), ADR (Average Daily Rate), GOP (Gross Operating Profit) and occupancy rates
• Prepare and present regular financial and performance reports to Senior Management, Owners, Operator
• Identify underperforming areas and create actionable plans to address them

Customer Experience and Brand Alignment

• Ensure that commercial strategies are aligned with delivering an exceptional guest experience
• Maintain consistency with brand standards while adapting to market-specific needs

Team Development and Leadership

• Guide and support department heads, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s objectives
• Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing commercial team
• Foster cross-department collaboration to achieve business goals

Stakeholder and Owner Relations

• In agreement with General Manager: can act as a liaison between the hotel Management Team and Stakeholders/Owners to communicate performance and strategies

Our client, in the Technology consulting industry, is seeking an experienced HR Manager with a specialization in Technology sector, to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes.

The Role
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a high level of expertise in HR, will exhibit strong decision-making skills along with a deep understanding of hiring within a technology-driven environment and responsibilities include:

• Supervise the HR department in overseeing all encompassing HR functions

• Initiate enhancements to HR operations and infrastructure, ensuring precision, adherence to regulations, and productivity

• Evaluate and enforce required modifications to the payroll system, such as system transition

• Examine and refresh company policies and employee guidelines to ensure they are up-to-date and follow labor laws and industry standards

• Collaborate with pertinent stakeholders to manage pay packages for newcomers or internal transferees

• Manage payroll operations to ensure on-time and accurate salary disbursement

• Oversee the handling of HR-related documents including employment agreements, role modifications, and contract terminations

• Handle conflict management, disciplinary actions, and complaint procedures

• Work closely with leaders to implement effective strategies for employee retention

• Plan, organise, and conduct company-wide events aiming towards a positive, cohesive work environment

• Head the yearly performance evaluation practice

• Coordinate with insurance providers or brokers to manage the purchase and renewal of group general and medical insurance

• Investigate trends in salaries and rewards to ensure a competitive and fair system

• Summarize and verify regional payroll data

• Act as the point of contact for any additional miscellaneous projects as needed.

Your Profile

You should have a degree in HR or Business or any related discipline, relevant HR certifications such as IHRP will be advantageous. You bring along 7 years’ experience in a similar capacity. You are people-oriented, and results driven, possess the competency to build and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels, have an in depth knowledge of the labour law and HR best practices.

You will be expected to manage audit engagements relating to IT audit. You will work closely with the audit team and manager to execute the audit plan and ensure the timely completion of the audit engagement. You will also work closely with clients and manage their expectations to further nurture on-going client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the daily activities of IT audit and risk assessment for a variety of engagements.
• Review the design and effectiveness of IT general controls, IT applications and other security audit supporting the client’s business and operations.
• Prepare proposal by evaluating complex technology of the clients’ internal controls and business risks by performing IT audit, developing the audit scope and procedures, recommending improvements and preparing audit reports.
• Carry out third-party assurance engagements in the areas of IT controls.
• Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Managers/Partners.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Accountancy.
• Candidates with CISA/CISSP/ACCA/CPA qualification will be an added plus.
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in IT audit/internal audit, from an international accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of complex business and IT processes and information security frameworks.
• Good technical skills, logical and analytical thinking.
• Good attitude, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team (team player).

Meta is seeking a seasoned Benefits professional to work in the APAC Benefits Strategy team. This role is responsible for managing and executing employee benefits programs across APAC, ensuring alignment with business objectives, competitiveness, and compliance with local regulations. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effectively and contribute to thought leadership and creative solutions to a growing organization. This is a full-time role based in Singapore and reports to the APAC Compensation and Benefits lead.

Responsibilities

• Support the strategic evolution of employee benefit programs, focused on taking care of our people and meeting the needs of a diverse workforce.
• Drive efficiency improvements to optimize the total benefits offering enhancing overall employee experience.
• Assist in the qualitative and quantitative analysis and research on employee benefits related programs including developing key metrics to analyze programs and help shape design decisions using data.
• Drive the reporting processes of APAC benefits program, including budget management, metrics review and reporting"
• Support the implementation of programs including working with the cross functional teams (HRBPs, Benefits Operations, Legal, Payroll, Tax) to develop the implementation strategy and roadmap.
• Things can always be done better. This role will strive for efficiency, including process design in partnership with the People Operations team.
• Design and implement effective communication and education strategies for benefits programs across APAC.
• Partner with global benefit teams to ensure consistent rollout & adoption of global benefits philosophy across APAC

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years broad exposure in benefits design and delivery across benefit programs, including health and mental health programs, risk insurances, leaves programs, retirement plans and family support across APAC, ideally in fast growth performance driven cultures.

• Good mix of hands-on, operational and design/strategy experience.
• A solid knowledge of international benefit programs from market positioning to administrative details.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships & credibility with business leaders.

• Demonstrated project management experience, and the ability to work to tight deadlines with multiple priorities, and across multiple countries.

Job Description

• Underwriting/pricing/analyzing the treaties (Property, Engineering, Marine, Casualty, etc.) emanating from the responsible territorial markets in the South-East Asian countries.
• Business producing activities including charting business plans, traveling to meet clients, and providing value-added service to clients to ensure the Branch’s growth and profitability.
• Reviewing claims and taking necessary actions for underwriting and business development purposes.
• Managing the administration of the Branch (general management, HR, investment, etc.) and reporting to the Branch CEO / the Head Office
• Communications between the Branch and the Head Office with regards to various topics such as the Branch’s asset management, management expenses, etc. (mostly in Korean)
• Any other projects/duties assigned by the Branch CEO or the Head Office.

Requirements

• At least five years of working experience in underwriting in the reinsurance company.
• Fluent in Korean to liaise with the Head Office for internal communication and various reports to the Head Office with native business/formal written communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in the financial system in Korea.

Monthly Salary Range (SGD)

$10,000 - 17,000
