Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Training Manager or similar role, preferably in wallpapering, painting, or related industry.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of wallpapering and painting techniques, tools, and best practices.
• Skills: Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications: Relevant industry certifications or training credentials are a plus.

The Sales Manager is responsible for all local sales activities, accounts and meetings in line with the annual sales plan. He/she works in a smart and savvy way to achieve hotel budgets. He/she is creative in his/her approach and work towards a successful hotel sales strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Returns:

· Monitors competitors’ activities and assists in collection of marketing intelligence to share with the team.

· Aware of sales strategy and goals when selling to negotiate optimum rate for the benefit of the business.

· Sells all facets of the hotel with a view to optimizing opportunities for revenue growth.

· Monitors existing business and inputs into sales strategy meetings to maximize opportunities.

Mission of the Department: The Finance department in Singapore is to provide donors, stakeholders, and business partners with sound financial and internal control and governance in alignment with the Singapore Charities Act, Financial Reporting Standards, and company policies. They focus on efficient operating systems and processes, information, analysis, and business insights needed for informed decisions, and strong financial resources to support the organisations priority conservation activities in Singapore and the rest of the global network. 

1. Major Functions: Deliver timely and accurate financial information and business performance insights for the operations of fundraising and conservation activities of the organisation in Singapore. Provide strategic financial planning, oversight of project expenditures and revenue, and cash management to maximise the efficient and effective use of funds. Drive accountability, control and compliance, and risk awareness by a high-performing team of talented finance professionals based on trust and mutual support.

1. Major Duties and Responsibilities: 

Finance Operations Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Manage finance operations with two direct reports, supervising and mentoring staff to ensure productivity, professionalism, and performance.
• Drive the standardization of operational processes within the Finance Department.

Financial Reporting and Compliance

• Ensure timely monthly financial close, including the preparation of financial reports and schedules.
• Ensure reporting compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines, staying updated on accounting best practices and regulatory changes.
• Oversee the timely and accurate completion of all financial audits and tax filings, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with the Head of Finance to deliver on the compliance agenda.

Business Partnering and Strategic Support

• Support the annual budget preparation and monthly reforecast exercises.
• Partner with fundraising teams on performance reviews, reforecasts, and budgeting.
• Provide guidance for the department's digital transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation and procure-to-pay processes.

Internal Controls and Governance

• Strengthen internal controls and governance practices, including handling internal audits and implementing recommended improvements.

Tax, Treasury, and Financial Matters

Manage tax compliance, cash flow, treasury operations, and other related financial responsibilities.

Required Qualifications         

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; 
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit organization.
• Strong understanding of non-profit accounting principles, fund accounting, and grant management a plus
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

• Monitor and track site progress, manpower mobilization and equipment deployment

• Plan the construction schedule and coordinate various subcontractors to ensure work runs smoothly

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction industry with at least 8 years of experience in Road or Civil projects in an EPC main contractor capacity handling mega infrastructure project

• Experiences in underground tunnelling works projects in main contractor capacity will be an added advantage
