JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for soliciting and managing group and catering opportunities. Actively upsell each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunity. Achieve personal and team related revenue goals. Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Responsible for driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. Provide service to our customers in order to grow share of the account on behalf of the company.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Respond to incoming group and catering opportunities for the property and prompt follow up of quotations within 24 hours.
2. Identifies, qualify, solicit and close group/catering business to achieve personal and property revenue goals.
3. Collaborate closely with proactive sales team to ensure effective communication to meet customer expectations.
4. Conduct site inspections of hotel facilities with clients, engage and demonstrate active listening skills and use negotiating skills with creative selling to close on business and negotiate contracts.
5. Conduct daily telemarketing calls to solicit for leads and generate new enquiries for the hotel.
6. Understand the properties primary target customer and service expectations; serve the customer by understanding the customer’s business needs and recommend appropriate business solutions, while building relationships and loyalty to the property and the brand.
7. Sales Administration. Ensure prompt attention and follow up on incoming phone calls, site inspections, proposal / inquiries. Accuracy in booking space in Opera and Salesforce. Follow through on commitments to customer on all sales/operational documents and adhering to the standards set by the department in execution and handover of all the said documents.
8. Ensure accurate contract/offer before sending it to the customer. Gains commitment of customer through signed contract/offer. Once signed contract/offer is received, completes accurate, detailed turnover documentation for Event Management.
9. Stay current with latest trends and derive creative upsell initiatives.
10. Explore all avenues to sell hotel through alternative dates and/or rates. If no alternative is determined, refer requests to other Marriott Hotel(s).
11. To be a team player motivating peers and subordinates in support of department goals, in sales and operations. Maintain professional interdepartmental relations and participate in hotel team building activities.
12. Achieve individual assigned sales goal for achievement of total sales budget.
13. Abide by Marriott’s ethical business practices and adhere to hotel’s grooming standards, ownership, accountability and responsibility.
14. Perform any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor or department head according to changing business, economic, customer needs or restructure within Sales & Marketing department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
• At least 2 years of hotel sales experience.
• Able to plan, organize and coordinate all aspects of groups & mice events.
• Strong negotiation skills to close deals and secure contracts.
• Effective communication with clients, team members and other departments.
• Able to track multiple tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth coordination.
• Able to provide accuracy, complete and effective turnover to Event Management.
• Able to start work within short notice period.

We are assisting our real estate client to recruit for a Manager or Senior Manager to join them as part of their expansion plan. This is a new headcount as they have been growing in this resilient asset class and looking to formulate and execute strategies to maximise the value of their portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, you will be driving the asset positioning strategies to achieve the financial, operational and sustainability goal of the assigned portfolio. You will prepare and analyse budgets, business plans and asset reports to evaluate the financial performance of the assets, perform hold-sell analysis, monitor lease expiry and rental collection.

You will also identify and analyse trends in the local market and recommend asset management strategies and opportunities. This will include negotiating and managing lease management issues and dealing with property related matters such as valuation, insurance etc

Requirements:

• You possess a Degree in Real Estate / Business / Finance or its equivalent and have at least 7 years’ relevant experience in asset management.
• Having some knowledge of ESG trends and regulations for real estate are highly advantageous.
• You are an independent, self-motivated individual and a resourceful team player.
• You possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills as well as being analytical with good business and financial acumen/modelling.
• There might be some travelling as this portfolio is primarily regional.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Report to and assist Assistant Operations Director with the entire Banquet operations

• Required to implement and recommend operation plans to improve work processes and service quality for the organization
• Coordinate with sales person on customer’s order
• Liaise with customer during on-site setup requirement
• Organise set-up & clean-up after each event
• Inventory control for banquet equipment
• Understanding with and complying with the mandatory hygiene standards and requirements
• Assist in the development and review of operation plans to improve work procedures and quality service delivery
• Review daily reports for submission to management
• Check and maintain equipment and/or technologies and supplies
• Maintain stock of supplies of materials and equipment
• Identify and recommend suitable equipment and/or technologies to improve daily operations
• Implement maintenance schedules for tools and equipment
• Facilitate planning of work schedules and deployment of manpower
• Report and update on major incidents and emergencies to the management
• Onboarding of new Part-Timers and submission of the documentation to the HR Department
• Submission of Rosters, Overtime Claims and Part Time salary claims on the Attendance Management System
• Submission of leave applications of the employees onto the Leave System
• Ensure stock check is conducted and items below par level are submitted for order
• Perform any other duties assigned by Assistant Operations Director

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise landed property reconstruction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the assigned project in accordance with company's policy
• Monitor the performance of the projects, sub-contractors and resolve daily problems arise during and after the course of projects
• Communicate, implement, and monitor company's policy to the project team for the effective implementation of the policy
• Identify potential construction problems, instigate preventive measures, standardization and innovate technique in related to selective construction process
• Review, advise and resolve on contractual, technical matters and comment on sub-contracts in related to the projects
• Chair internal project reviews meeting with project team and report on the performance for director's information
• Establish, develop, monitor and maintain project budget, programme, resources allocation, quality plan, environmental issues, and safety plan in accordance with company's requirement
• Liaison with Client, Architect and consultants for performance and co-ordination of the project

Requirements

• Degree in Building, Civil, Structural Engineering or other construction related subject
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience with at least 4 years in managerial grade in construction field
• Strong management, communication and problem solving skills
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree, Master's Degree in any field
• Able to communicate in English & Chinese (to liaise with Mandrain speaking associates)
