Candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth in the maritime communication sector for Japan. Profiency of the Japanese language is mandatory, both conversational and written.

You will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and building strong relationships with key customers in the Japan shipping industry. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience with majority of Japanese clientele. Experience in the maritime and satellite communication industry is not required but advantages.

KVH is a company who sells satellite communication systems to ships. This includes VSAT dome , Satellite phones and the latest Starlink terminals. KVH is an essential backbone system for ship's daily operations.

The role will be located in Singapore with travels to Japan. This role reports to the VP of APAC.

• Grow IAM business in Singapore, Indonesia & Philippines.
• Thales IAM business has – Workforce IAM, Customer IAM, Digital Banking & in-house FIDO/PKI portfolio.
• Target and win business from Large BFSI customers leading the engagement directly.
• Work with partners to expand the reach & develop IAM business in adjoining territories.
• On-board new partners to fillip our business growth.
• Work through the pipeline to meet the quarterly forecasts.
• Forecast and record the committed numbers properly in Salesforce.
• Be understanding and innovative to position Thales IAM product line and help the customers in solving their security & business issues.

Requirements:

Education:

• University degree in MIS, Computing or Marketing or similar subject.

Experience:

• Proven track record in selling IT/Cybersecurity solutions to BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) segment customers in a Hi-Touch engagement model.
• Experience in selling CIAM/Banking grade Authentication solutions/ Fraud & Risk Management preferred
• Experience in selling Saas based cybersecurity products/Services.
• Experience in selling through the partners
• Experience with building market/revenue pipeline for a new product/service will be seen advantageous

Skills:

• Proven track record in selling IT/cybersecurity solutions and growing revenue.
• Ability to develop and enhance customer relationship at all levels, and implement account plans.
• Ability to communicate with senior management of very large BFSI Organization.
• Ability to develop and enhance business relationships with all types of partners and manage partners to achieve desired results.
• Good presentation skills, capable of articulating technical proposals to decision makers at both technical and business levels.
