Data Security Specialist - Data Security and Endpoint Security

Data Security Specialist is a technical Specialist role within the Data Security Services team and will be responsible for managing, administration and supporting the Data Security and Endpoint Security technologies for the bank.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer – Network and Security to join our dynamic team. This role emphasizes network and security projects while supporting systems-related tasks. As part of the team, you’ll be actively involved in project implementations, migrations, and maintenance of network and security solutions across multiple industries. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a strong foundation in network infrastructure and security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or participate in project implementations, migrations, and maintenance support for a range of network and security products:
  • Wireless Networks, Switches, and Routers: Deployment and configuration of Cisco, HPE/Aruba, or Ruckus switches, VLANs, and routing, with wireless implementations utilizing Cisco, Aruba, or Ruckus solutions.
  • Network & Security Solutions: Implementation and support for Bluecoat Proxy, RSA Server, MS Radius Server, Aruba Clearpass, Aruba Airwave, Nessus, Solarwinds, and PRTG.
  • Firewall Solutions: Deployment and configuration of Cisco, Checkpoint, Watchguard, Fortigate, Palo Alto, and Juniper firewalls, including IPSEC/Site-to-Site VPN and Unified Threat Management (UTM) features such as antispam, antivirus, intrusion detection/prevention (IPS/IDS), and content filtering.
  • Windows Server Support: Basic implementation of Windows Server environments, focusing on Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS configurations.
  • Microsoft Azure Network Configuration: Configuration and support of network features within the Azure cloud environment.
• Provide 24x7 software maintenance support on a rotating basis, ensuring system reliability and rapid response to incidents.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in IT, or relevant IT certifications aligned with product focus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT, with exposure to Network project implementation and support, preferably within a System Integrator (SI) environment.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge in networking and security, with hands-on experience in configuring wireless networks, firewalls, and monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with firewall configurations and UTM feature management.
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Windows Server and Azure network configurations.
  • Experience in System Integrator projects or similar environments is advantageous.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Has 5+ years of experience in a cyber or information security management role.
