As Regional Information Security Officer for the APAC region, your job will be to represent Wise Security Squad, creating strong partnerships within our APAC legal entities to help reduce Information Security and Technology risk in line with the expectations of the markets in which we operate.

What you will be working on

• Working closely with regional risk, compliance and engineering teams to provide a tailored view of risk to APAC legal entities.
• Leading security responses for regional licence applications, annual certifications, and ad-hoc audits.
• Supporting Group Security Risk assessment process and preparing risk updates for APAC entity committees and boards.
• Evaluating Wise Group Security controls against regional requirements and obligations.
• Supporting our global security security certification process (e.g. ISO27001, PCI-DSS, SOC1 & 2).
• Assisting with other Information Security and Technology risk related activities as needs arise.

You will play a part in the team to research, design, architect and implement security solutions such as Endpoint Protection, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intel Platform, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out implementation, maintenance, support and operation of the project's security solution platforms.
• Maintain understanding of the architecture and work with security team to understand the use case and playbooks to be created.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in providing technical support and administration of the security solutions (Endpoint Protection, EDR, SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intel Platform, etc)
• Working experience in powershell, bash and/or python scripting
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving issues and delivering updates to stakeholders
• Basic project management skills
• Positive working attitude and a team player

• Professional certificates such as SIEM Certified Administrator, SIEM Certified Architect, SOAR Certified Administrator, equivalent or more.
• Professional training or certificates in Splunk, McAfee, Carbon Black, Anomali, RSA SecurID will be an added advantage
• Disciplines in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related qualifications

Responsibilities

• Produce intelligence outputs to provide an accurate depiction of the current threat landscape and associated risk through the use of customer, community, and open source reporting
• Produce actionable intelligence information for delivery to colleagues and customers in the form of technical reports, briefings, and data feeds
• Participate in regular threat focus meetings with fellow SOCs
• Perform detailed investigative works into all traffic anomalies against established, historical baselines of individual agencies. Reviewing and profiling the events of all monitored clients
• Assist the Security Analysts with the investigative works
• Build rules and intelligence to detect such threats and proliferate to all monitored networks. Implementing and devising detection method of such threats in our security operations thru CESM IE/MCE Rules, DB scripts etc.
• Works with R&D for new signature package for deployment.
• Filtering and fine-tuning the security events flowing to our databases
• Prepare training programme for Security Analyst and conduct knowledge sharing sessions for Security Analyst
• Working with engineering team to set up new initiatives i.e. honeypot on the Internet ADSL link to improve security incident detection capabilities
• Monitor real-time third party security feeds, forums, and mailing lists to gather information on vulnerabilities and exploits related to the client

Requirements

• Degree holder with at least 5 years' of experience in related field and capacity
• Prior experience working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT/CIRT).
• Possessed deep interest in open source research and critical thinking / contextual analysis abilities
• Investigative and analytical problem solving skills
• An understanding of the current vulnerabilities, response, and mitigation strategies used in cyber security;
• Related professional cyber security certification, such as GCIA, CEH, will be preferred.
• Experience with intelligence analysis processes, including Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and closed source intelligence gathering, source verification, data fusion, link analysis, and threat actor.
• Ability to research and characterize security threats to include identification and classification of threat indicators

As a Cyber Security Researcher, you will be conducting research and development work to deliver comprehensive security assessment on cyber security technologies (e.g. network-based and host-based threat detection and protection systems).

Specifically, successful applicants will:

• Evaluate the effectiveness of cyber security products in protecting cyber assets (i.e. against their stated capabilities).
• Research, reverse engineer and analyze cyber security products for potential weaknesses and propose mitigation and remediation solutions.
• Create proof of concept code to demonstrate the identified security issues.
• Develop and enhance processes and tools for the testing and evaluation of cyber security products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a computer science or engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
• Have strong interest or relevant experience in the following:

o Analyzing system and network behavior and activities on common operating systems such as Windows.

o Monitoring and analyzing network traffic and packet captures.

o Reverse engineering of software applications or systems.

o Understanding of Operating System Kernels.

o Developing host-based or network-based cyber security products.

• Proficient in some programming or scripting language, e.g. C /C++, x86/x64 assembly, Java, Ruby, or Python.
• Familiarity with major Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows, Linux).
• Prior developing/reversing experience with Operating System’s Driver will be an advantage.

Job Summary:

The Cyber Security Asset Management Services Lead will be responsible for partnering with sales teams and relevant teams to win new business by leading asset discovery engagements and help identify white space opportunity. This person will lead asset management services engagements across a portfolio of customers and will also help shape the strategic direction of the Cyber Security Asset Management (CSAM) practice, building the business and becoming a strategic advisor to our customers and focus on PANW solutions pull- through. The candidate should have prior experience of structuring and selling software Enterprise license agreements (ELAs) and Software as a Service (SaaS) deals leveraging asset base and white space information; enabling sales teams with pipeline generation and value proposition to drive incremental revenues and margins. The ideal candidate should have both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, and technology background that enables them to easily interact with customer’s technology and security teams.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Partner with Sales, Technical and Services teams to plan and conduct CSAM engagements and contribute to customer relationships

• Provide hands-on, expert level proactive CSAM assessment service to customers and deliver gap analysis and findings to CxO and key stakeholders 

• Assist customers in developing and implementing CSAM strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with best practices and regulatory compliance requirements

• Identify and execute strategies for CSAM service development, enablement and process that result in the identification of white space opportunity and pull through of PANW’s solutions
