Job Description:

• Oversee project planning, scheduling, manpower allocation, and progress monitoring for semiconductor plant construction.
• Manage budgets for materials, manpower, and machinery, addressing delays or site emergencies effectively.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, clients, and authorities to resolve site and compliance issues.
• Ensure safe, economical methods and strict adherence to project standards for smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Min. 3 years of experience in construction, preferably in semiconductor plant projects.
• Degree in Engineering/Architecture or equivalent qualification.
• Strong prioritization skills, ability to work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexible to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and organize construction schedules, ensuring effective coordination of all related activities.
• Track and report on project progress both on-site and off-site.
• Prepare and submit progress reports as required by consultants and clients.
• Review and interpret project specifications, including civil/structural, architectural, and M&E drawings.
• Monitor construction activities regularly and produce daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by adhering to standard regulations.
• Perform administrative tasks related to the project as assigned.
• Schedule and coordinate site inspections with the Resident Engineer (RE) and Resident Technical Officer (RTO).
• Lead daily toolbox meetings with the Site Supervisor and WSH Coordinator, providing briefings on site activities and tasks.
• Plan and oversee daily site activities in collaboration with the Site Supervisor.
• Participate in monthly and weekly safety meetings, as well as site discussions with the client.
• Prepare and manage required project submissions, such as RFIs, Method Statements (MS), Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), shop drawings, and supporting documents.
• Maintain and organize project records and documents to ensure compliance with ISO standards.

Requirements:

• Must possess a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Preferably 2 to 4 years of experience in the infrastructural or marine construction industry; however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in dredging, reclamation, or nearshore construction projects is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and BCA regulations.
• Daily sea travel to the island worksite is required.
• Willingness to work on Sundays or Public Holidays as per project needs, including emergency recovery work.
• Flexibility to assist with various projects as needed.
• Ownership of a personal vehicle is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Capable of working under pressure and adapting to a fast-paced work environment.

• Conduct thorough monitoring of construction work activities and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety meeting, site works and site reports.
• Coordinate, prepare and arrange site inspection with RE & RTO.
• Arrange daily Toolbox Meeting with Site Supervisor and WSHC and briefing on site activities and daily task. Arrange Site daily activities with Site Supervisor.
• Prepare necessary submission for project. Example, RFI, MS, RA, SWP, shop drawings and supporting documents preparation.
• To prepare and keep records, summary related to project. Maintain Project documents control for ISO purpose.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Daily sea travel to island work site is mandatory.
• Relevant project experiences in dredging, reclamation or near shore construction is a plus.
• Fresh graduate welcome as training will be provided.
