Job Description

- Work with Production Engineers, Supervisors and Technician to design, develop, and improve engineering processes.

- Planning and coordinating of production schedule and production output.

- Plan and implement improvement projects for productivity improvement

- Ensuring all monthly operating expenses stay within allocated budget.

- Support inspections of equipment and scheduling maintenance or repairs with Maintenance Dept

- Inspecting inventory and reporting inconsistencies as well as ordering more materials.

- Producing CAD drawings, nesting thru company smart system according to our standard specifications.

- Evaluating first article and processes and ensuring standardization of quality assurance measures.

- Calibrating and troubleshooting of equipment /machines as required.

- Perform time study and improve standard time hour

Job Requirements:

- A degree or minimum diploma in Engineering discipline.

- Minimum 2 years' experience in precision engineering in manufacturing industry

- Proficient in 3D drawing software – Solidworks

- Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Familiar with manufacturing quality assurance techniques

- Understand 5S discipline, TQC and other quality improvement tools

- Good interpersonal skills, problem-solving and project management skills

We are looking to hire a Senior Process Engineer to work on projects in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical sectors.

Key responsibilities:

• Design of process and utilities – preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing calculations
• Coordination of design with other design disciplines and equipment suppliers
• Ownership of equipment modules and packages through design and procurement phases
• Completion of Design Risk Assessments
• Participation in Technical and Safety reviews
• Interfacing with client design team/end users
• Process optimization/site support

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering (or equivalent)
• At least 8 years of design and project experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost breakdown as per the scope including detailed material take off, activity wise resource requirements, subcontractors, indirect costs, etc
• Communicate with purchase dept & suppliers to get competitive quote for materials by negotiation
• Liaise with internal departments (Sales, QA/QC, Production and Purchase) to collect project information & data
• Prepare technical proposal including statement with estimated cost in time.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, with minimum 2 years’ cost estimation experience in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical/Chemical industries, handling similar products is an advantage
• Experience in preparing proposals/tendering preferred
• Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
• Good application knowledge of MS Office
