Job Description:

Be part of an exciting team working on cutting-edge advanced packaging process technologies. Participate in process development and integration solution to enable advanced packaging process technologies in the world of mobile, IoT, consumer and high-performance computing area. Partner and work with various teams from inside and outside of IME to help develop leading-edge packaging solutions for our customers, taking the solutions from concept to mass production. Responsibilities will include assisting in operations support in clean room to make sure projects are completed successfully and delivered on time.

This position is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Operate semiconductor equipment to perform processes, measurement, and inspection of wafers. (Include equipment setup, loading and unloading of wafers)
• Monitor basic equipment/process errors and perform recovery.
• Work with internal and external parties to align for tool time, execute process sequence and collect data to feedback to integration owner.
• Logistically transport wafer lots between equipment within cleanroom and between worksites.
• Identify and address potential areas for improvements such as cycle time, utilization, and cost.
• Perform chemical change/ top-up for equipment under supervision.
• Understand and follow all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures and requirements.
• The candidate may be required to perform shift work (Mon-Fri).

Experience:

• NiTEC or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
• Basic understanding on semiconductor process is preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in semiconductor processes (Litho, Etch, CVD, PVD, Plating, Metrology etc.) will be added advantages

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORIZATION LEVEL

• Innovate and Create value for Next Generation of advanced complex system.
• Develop and design electronics architecture, circuits, and systems for meeting future products specifications.
• Brainstorm and Contribute Out of Box solution to create value to business and customers.
• Conduct system analysis to achieve optimized design solution to meet design specification, project schedule, and cost target.
• Ensure design meets all regulatory requirements.
• Participate in technical discussions and presentation of design solutions to customers.
• Coordinate the fabrication, assembly, and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance to specifications.
• Author of specifications, requirements, and validation plans for design module assigned.
• Work with the Manufacturing team and suppliers throughout the product cycle in a fast-paced environment.
• Development and design opportunities in one or more of the following areas:Embedded micro-processor system design.
  Medical product design.
  IO standards and protocol such as USB, IR, LAN, Bluetooth, etc.
  Power electronics – DC-DC, AC-DC converter, etc.
  Analog – sensing technologies, signal conditioning, etc.
  
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Masters/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in embedded microprocessor system design, power management electronics, and small signal analog design.
• Experience in product development preferred.

Other JOB-RELATED SKILLS

• Knowledge in PC architecture, High Speed IO Bus protocols (such as DDR, FSB, PCI-X), signal integrity techniques, and high-speed hardware design.
• Good understanding of product safety, environmental testing, and EMC advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of electronics fundamentals and principles.
• Good team player with strong passion for product design.
• Experience in medical product compliance standard such as ISO13485 is an added advantage.
• Simulation tools & programming skills (e.g., PSpice, Python) is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver customer support, commissioning, and service for the assigned product range in maritime automation systems.
• Provide technical support and maintain strong relationships with clients across Southeast Asia.
• Perform workshop testing and technical preparations before service deployment.
• Ensure proper preparation and execution of assigned tasks, meeting performance expectations consistently.
• Generate detailed service reports, update technical documentation such as drawings and cable information, and maintain records accurately.
• Offer remote guidance and product support to customers while managing refit/retrofit project commissioning.
• Support the service team with backend technical expertise and assist the sales department with technical inquiries.
• Manage administrative duties, including pre- and post-service documentation, and handle ad hoc assignments as needed.
