Job scope

Maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.

Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.

Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.

Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.

Collaborating with different project stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

Address and resolve the technical problems and issues with various parties.

Preparing MOS (inspection test plan, safe work procedures) & other documents such as RFI etc.

Preparing report (weekly, monthly) on job progression and completion.

Perform Communication with all levels and resolve conflicts arising

Collect and access drawing and technical information.

Ensuring all plans are compliant with governmental health, safety regulations, trades requirements and code of practice.

Providing guidance and lead team of contractors and execute operation or push works.

Preparing work schedule micro program, plan ahead of work program, conduct presentation, track and monitor progress of tasks.

Job Description

• Formulating and updating safety policies and procedures in compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Act requirements
• Ensuring that safety policies are communicated effectively to all employees
• Identifying and assessing potential hazards in the workplace
• Conducting regular risk assessments and recommending measures to mitigate identified risks
• Providing safety training to employees on a regular basis
• Conducting orientation programs for new employees to familiarize them with safety protocols
• Performing regular inspections of the workplace to identify and rectify safety hazards
• Conducting safety audits to ensure compliance with WSH standards
• Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine the root causes
• Developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions based on investigation findings
• Keeping abreast of changes in safety regulations in Singapore
• Ensuring that the company remains in compliance with WSH acts
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time
• Work in multiple locations

Requirement

• Registered WSH Officer/Safety Officer with MOM
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in WSH for building/construction industry
• Possess a minimum Diploma in Environment, Health and Safety Management or related field
• Excellent people management skills and good interpersonal skills

Role:

Architectural Engineer (Construction / Short Notice / Up to $6000)

• Singapore Based (Changi Navel, Project Office nearby Lavender MRT)
• Project contract based (estimated 27 months until project completion)
• 6 Days work per week (8am to 5pm)
• $4000 to $6000
• Degree/Master in architectural engineering, design, or similar or equivalent, recognized under Board of Architect
• At least 3 years of Experience in a marine construction/construction company is favourable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCAD software/Revit.

Reviewing and designing Architectural and engineering plans.

To coordinate all the Architecture works and maintain submissions.

Ensuring all plans are compliant with governmental health and safety regulations.

Providing guidance to subcontractors like builders, plumbers, and electricians, and helping them interpret design specifications.

Liaising with clients to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that project requirements are met.

Managing project timelines and ensuring deadline adherence.

Producing detailed reports as required by the project roadmap.

Using software programs for simulating architectural designs

Verifying and validating onsite work against plans and designs.

Stay up-to-date with industry standards and trends and integrate them into the design process.
