• Implement a comprehensive Site Safety Management System to manage risks and reduce accidents
• Implementation of workplace safety, health and environment programs and initiatives
• Enforcement of safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act
• Conducting training programs on workplace safety and health and inspections to ensure that all staff and/or subcontractors onsite and at HQ abide by policies and standards
• Ensure strict compliance of procedures in statutory workplace, safety, health & environment requirements at sites and required premises
• Implementation of effective safety management system, preventive measures as well as risk assessment to minimize accidents at the assigned workplace/site
• Preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits
• Assist the company in safety related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and executive of safety programs
• Work with the assistance of your safety team of WSH coordinators and supervisors at the project site

• Fire Protection System comprising of Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Hosereel, Hydrant, Rising Main, Emergency Communication, Gas etc.
• Plan, lead and manage a team of supervisors in implementing fire protection installation for the project throughout the concept stage, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, site administration & management, testing & commissioning to project completion
• Assist & Report Directly to the Project Director on overall project management.
• Supervision of work, liaise with main contractors/sub contractors / site supervisors/ foremen and workers regarding the overall implementation on site
• Attend meetings with owner, consultants and main contractors on all matters relating to the project operation and co-ordination

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Ideally 1-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Good command of English and Computer Literate

• In-charge for the conceptual development of the various construction projects and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation
• To plan, lead and monitor progress and performance against the project plan whilst managing the day-to-day operational aspects of projects which includes manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, preparation of master schedule and cost control
• Responsible for cost management to manage projects within approved budgets, include materials, manpower and machinery cost control for new and running projects
• Responsible for exercising timely instructions to deal with the results of delays, or emergencies at construction project sites
• Reviewing manpower planning and monitoring of work schedules to ensure orderly delegation of jobs and smooth operation. Ensure to exercise effectively safe and economical methodology and enforces project standards
