The Business Development Manager is responsible for pursuing sales opportunities to sell Geotechnical Instrumentation and monitoring, Site Investigation, and related testing services to clients across the Construction Industry. Reporting directly to the Sales Director (Asia), the BDM is responsible for driving and achieving growth with High Touch Accounts and by prospecting for new opportunities with new clients. The role is expected to exercise appropriate leadership to maximize team effectiveness working seamlessly with our Quantity Surveyors, lab managers, and operational and leadership teams who all play an active part in sales, alongside the Company's Global Technical Leaders where necessary. The successful candidate will be responsible to develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes for ongoing construction projects and ensure the application of the Lessons Learnt process.

Responsibilities:

Quality Control:

· Lead the creation of a QC process for the region

· Create standardized Inspection and Test plan for projects

· Create standard QC checklists and inspection forms for the projects, supported by the local project teams

· Support the implementation of the forms for all projects

Lessons Learnt /Return On Experience:

· Be the organizer of the REX workshops for tenders and projects

· Create and maintain an accessible, user-friendly REX library

· Ensure the learnings are integrated by the different stakeholders(Project development, projects, management,…)

Requirements:

· Engineering Degree in Thermal, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in industry, ideally in construction industry

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance

· Good understanding of Testing & Commissioning activity

· Fluent English is essential (written and oral)

· Good communication skills (to team members, client, contractors, internal management)

· Dare to ask questions, to chase people to get information

Supervision of works at site in accordance with the design

• Preparation and maintenance of daily report / record

• Check and conduct inspections on works performed by subcontractors / gangs

• Check all construction drawings / sketches received on site and to report any discrepancy to the Project Manager

• Handle all problems arising from the project

• Preparation of progress report for the Client / Consultants

• Work in conjunction with the Project Manager and Safety Supervisor to keep the site safe and tidy

• Co-ordinate the handing over of completed works to the Client / Consultants and completion of the necessary rectification works

• Submission of as-built drawings at the end of the project

Job Requirements :

Responsibilities

• Manage the project management processes for engineering and construction related works.

• Project starts in 2025.
