Job Responsibility
- Implement an enhanced Site Safety, Health, and Environmental management system to manage risks and minimize accidents and incidents.
- Investigate any incidents/accidents and advise on the remedial measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence;
- Implement Safety, Health, and environment programs and initiatives
- Prepare legal register and monitor it to ensure compliance with legal requirements including Singapore Standard and Code of Practice about EHS.
- Organise lifting team, prepare lifting plan and lead PPVC module lifting operation.
- Organise promotions such as EHS campaigns, training courses, competitions, contests, and other activities to develop and maintain the HSE consciousness of persons employed in the work site in establishing healthy and safe working conditions.
- Identify training requirements, Prepare and conduct the EHS training for all employees who are identified in RA and SWP.
- Prepare Daily / weekly/monthly reports according to the client’s format and statutory reports as required.
- Participate in all EHS inspections of the work site / Factory carried out to assess the efficiency of any measures taken in compliance with the EHS
- Act as Secretary to the EHS Committee and assist the Chairman in planning and directing the functions of the EHS Committee.
- Prepare and conduct periodic internal audits and ConSASS audits to ensure the EHS Management system
- Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a Diploma in Engineering, Specialist Diploma in WSH, and Earth Control Measure Officer course.
- Qualification in Behavioural Based Safety.
- Certificate in Monitoring noise, Confined Space Assessor, Risk Management Implementation Plan, Lifting Supervisor, and Work At Height Assessor.
- Preferably Ten (10) years of safety personnel experience in various construction projects.
- 5 years experience and well knowledge in PPVC projects and strong skills in PPVC Moule Lifting operation in construction site and fit-out yard factory
- A self-driven and meticulous individual who has a strong ability to multi-task
- Must be able to work in MS Office software
- Substantial understanding and knowledge of local regulation, Singapore Standards, and Code of Practices especially related to EHS.
- Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects
- Willing to work 5.5 days in night shifts at various construction sites
