Job Summary

The Construction Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth within the construction sector by developing relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing effective solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and market trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups and meetings to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Sales Strategy Development
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and increase market share.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Market Research
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Analyze market data to identify potential growth areas.
• Proposal Preparation
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and contracts to clients.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure accurate project specifications.
• Negotiation and Closing
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to finalize sales.
  • Close sales deals and ensure a smooth transition to project execution.
• Reporting and Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress.
  • Prepare regular sales reports for management review.

• Purchase material for project site based on the product specification and requirements.
• Conduct price negotiation with suppliers, vendors and price comparison.
• Create purchase order and generate monthly purchase reports.

Requirements:

• Certificate in Purchasing or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of purchasing experience in Construction/Engineering industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, meticulous and good negotiation skills.

Job Description

• Attend tender interviews

• Provide support activities in procurement, attend

site meetings, monitoring deliveries and keeping

track of the entire project timeline

• Undertake cost analysis for project work

• Assist in establishing a client's requirements and

undertake feasibility studies

• Perform risk, value management and cost control

• Prepare and analyse costing for tenders

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including

bills of quantities with the client

• Provide advice on contractual claims

• Responsible for taking off measurement and

monthly progress claim.

• Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress

reports

• Value completed work and arranged payments

• Maintain awareness of the different contracts in

current use

• Ensure the construction project is completed within

its projected budget.

Job Requirement

• Min Diploma in Quantity Surveying

• Required language(s): English

• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the

related field is required for this position especially

Landscape/ Construction Industries.

• Required Skill(s): quantity surveyor, project

management, site coordination, progress claims,

project costing, contracts

• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Quantity

Surveying or equivalent.
