Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering (preferably Civil or Environmental), Construction Management, or a related field.
• WSH Officer Certification
• Min 5 years of experience in a safety-related role in the construction industry
• Proven track record of managing and improving workplace safety programs.
• Experience with site inspections, hazard identification, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
• Familiarity with construction-specific safety practices
• Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act, Construction Safety Regulations, and relevant codes of practice.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors.

Job Descriptions

• Actively conduct risk assessments at project site and recommend measures to minimize and eliminate possible risks to any person.
• Monitoring and verifying that the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) is adhered to at all times and taking action if the specifications are not followed.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Safety, Health and Environment Management or other relevant subjects
• Holding Certificate in WSH Coordinator Course/ Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course and/or any Relevant Safety Certificates from any approved institutions will be preferred.
• Registered as Workplace Safety & Health Officer and Environmental Control Officer with at least five (5) years of post-registration and practical experience relevant to the scope of works of the contract.

Minimum 20 years of experience in Engineering Field with Degree in Civil Engineering.

At least 10 years of experience in managing design and construction team for projects of similar scale and complexity. Related LTA experience perferred.

The Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Engineer is responsible for designing, coordinating, and overseeing the mechanical and electrical systems in construction or industrial projects. This role involves working closely with other engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure that mechanical and electrical systems are designed and implemented in compliance with relevant standards, are cost-effective, and meet the functional and safety requirements of the project.

1. Design and develop mechanical and electrical systems for projects, including HVAC, lighting, power distribution, and plumbing systems.
2. Collaborate with architects and civil engineers to integrate M&E systems seamlessly into the overall project design.
3. Ensure that all designs comply with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
4. Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and plans for mechanical and electrical installations.
5. Oversee the installation of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
6. Ensure that installation is carried out safely, adhering to safety standards and risk management protocols.
7. Conduct testing and commissioning of M&E systems to ensure they are fully operational and meet performance standards.
8. Manage the M&E components of the project, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.
9. Monitor and supervise on-site activities to ensure compliance with M&E specifications and quality standards.
10. Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure efficient project execution.
11. Provide ongoing technical support during and after the construction phase, ensuring the mechanical and electrical systems are functioning efficiently.
12. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical and electrical systems.
13. Ensure that preventive maintenance schedules are established and followed.
14. Prepare and maintain accurate records of designs, technical specifications, calculations, and installation activities.
15. Report project progress to senior management, identifying any potential delays or issues and recommending solutions.

Requirement

• A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, with a focus on construction, building services, or industrial projects.
• Must have Singapore's experience in HDB projects
• Holding a Professional Engineering (PE) certification or other relevant qualifications in M&E engineering (e.g., CEng, LEED accreditation) is a plus.
