Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Task Coordination: Organize tasks based on project priorities and timelines.
• Scheduling: Create schedules and monitor crew attendance to ensure productivity.
• Delegation: Allocate daily responsibilities to team members effectively. Supervision and Training: Oversee and train workers and tradespeople to ensure high standards.
• Resource Management: Ensure adequate manpower and resources are available for project needs.
• Safety and Quality Compliance: Uphold all safety protocols and quality standards on-site.
• Equipment Oversight: Supervise the use of machinery and equipment to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Budget Monitoring: Track expenditure to ensure projects remain within budget.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a construction foreman.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) guidelines.
• Possess Class 3 driving licence.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and blueprints.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Proficiency in basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina for site work.
