As a Piping Design Engineer (Drafting) specializing in piping projects, you will be responsible for designing, drafting, and optimizing piping systems within manufacturing facilities. You will work closely with project managers and engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that piping designs meet regulatory requirements, safety standards, and project specifications. Your role will involve creating detailed drawings, including IFC shop drawings, conducting analysis, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality piping solutions.

Job Requirements:

· Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Plant3D, Inventor, Revit

· Prepare technical drawings, including piping isometrics, 3D/BIM model

· Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

· 2 to 3 years relevant working experience piping design & drafting

· Experience in pharmaceutical piping design & drafting would be desirable

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for assuring the implementation and compliance with the Quality Assurance System.
• Control and monitor all activities related to Quality Management System (QMS).
• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents
• Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, through knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
• Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
• Carry out Internal Audit at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan, PQP
• Liaise the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to Consultant
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by Senior Manager (QA/QC).

Requirements:

• A Civil Engineering Diploma recognized by the Professional Engineer (PE) Board, Singapore, or its equivalent as accepted by the OIC
• Min. 4 years of relevant experience in the inspection and quality control monitoring of high quality, mass produced precast concrete products with precast yard experience.

• Oversees all M&E construction activities on site, reporting directly to the Project Manager.

• Manages construction progress autonomously, ensuring adherence to M&E drawings, specifications, and requirements.

• Maintains control over project schedules, overseeing site staff, workers, and subcontractor performance.

• Manages materials, tools, and equipment procurement and delivery.

• Attends project meetings to provide progress updates and ensures alignment with project objectives.

• Ensures discrepancies in drawings are resolved with consultants before site progress.

• Prepares and maintains Project Construction Plan, site access plan, hoisting plan, and temporary utilities plan.

• Implements quality control measures through inspections and completion/pre-handover assessments.

• Verifies materials used meet specifications and certifications.
