Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (M&E Construction) (ID8308)
Location: Ang Mo Kio, Singapore
Working Hour：Mon-Fri,9am to 6pm
Salary: $2800 - $3500

Job Description:
Data collection and documentation handling
Attend and evaluate tender briefings and site surveys
Study contract documents, perform measurements and timely prepare Bill of Quantities
Design & Prepare Tender Proposal according to client / project requirement & specification.
Preparation of tender submission and analysis
Assist in cost estimation and quantity measurement
Oversee projects from Tender Stage through to Handover, ensuring the documentations is well-prepared.
Work closely with Project Team in submission of the progress report, progress claim, variation order, final account etc.
Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required

Requirement:
Minimum diploma/degree in Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying/Mechanical & Electrical/Electronics or equivalent
Working experience in Singapore’s construction and/or, engineering and/or, security system industry and/or tendering process for M&E works is preferred.
Possesses good communication skills to liaise with English and Mandarin speaking associates
Proficiency in AUTOCAD is an added advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To be able to effectively assess risk impact of project activities and issue Safety Stand Down when deemed necessary.
• Dealing with authorities, staffs, client’s representatives, public, neighbours and other interested parties on matters related to safety & health.
• Conduct regular inspection and see to it that person responsible for the NC recorded or raised by interested parties are informed to perform corrective actions with photos evidence of closure.
• Conduct accident / incident investigations and recommendations on corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of all corrective actions taken
• Ensure reporting of incident comply with legal requirement.
• Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Environmental Management System of work site
• Conduct regular site inspections and follow-up actions to ensure environment compliance
• Advise Project Manager on site environmental issues and solutions
• Report and recommend on remedial measures on environmental issues
• Prepare and submit a Site Environmental Control Programme to PM
• Organise campaigns, training courses and other activities to develop and sustain the interest of staff and workers in maintaining good environmental health standards in the construction site
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Project Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferable to have minimum 5 years of experience in building/ civil projects
• Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO)
• Possess valid registration with Ministry of Manpower
• Possess a level of physical fitness appropriate to the job requirements, keen observation and knowledge of WSH requirements to enforce safety compliance at the workplace
• At least 5 years of experience in a main-contractor company involved in HDB BTO project

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
• Support forecasting and budgeting exercise, Project P & L as per corporate guidelines
• To assist and perform the daily accounting and administrative duties such as putting up cheques for payments.
• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
• Responsible in administering and issuing invoices to the customers.
• To gather and handle all petty cash transactions and posting of all Accounts accurately by entering into the Computerized Systems.
• To attend to the External Auditors and to be involved and participate in the Annual Stocktaking
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required.

• To be a witness in taking the weights or data in the work process, whenever necessary.
• To perform any other duties as and when assigned by the Superiors.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Diploma in Accounting with at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong management skills and leadership qualities.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with chinese speaking associates
