Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager (PM) to assist to manage the end-to-end process of a building construction project. He/She will be assigned to the Project Team handling either the Building or the Lab project. He/She is expected to oversee all aspects of the projects and account for:

3. Leverage the Consultants’ skills/experience to ensure specifications/viability of project are on target.
4. Work with internal stakeholders – to ensure buy-in/support.
5. Work with external stakeholders and manage the delivery.

The PM will manage project resources and conduct regular project review meetings to ensure that the projects are on track at every stage of the project life cycle. He/She will manage change requests, anticipating and addressing issues, prompt handling of project delays and risks to ensure successful outcome.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Masters degree in Electrical/ Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering or a related field from established university.
• Proven experience in leading build projects from initiation to project closure.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical skills (critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills)
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• PMP certification from PMI or equivalent is a MUST.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience.

Core responsibilities:

• Oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions and manage full set of books for a group of companies (including review payment vouchers, sub-con payments, bank reconciliations, journal vouchers etc.)
• Supervise a team of Accounts Executives (“AE”) & Accounts Assistants (“AA”) to ensure timely and accurate month end and year end closing
• Review management reports and audit schedules prepared by AE & AA
• Prepare and submit monthly variance analysis, cash flow statements and update of order book (for assigned company and group level)
• Prepare yearly budget and half-year forecast process, budget/ forecast compilation and budget/ forecast reports for assigned company and group level
• Review /prepare quarterly GST returns (Form 5)
• To prepare year end audit (including corporate and deferred taxation computation) and liaise with external auditors
• To liaise with tax representatives for annual tax returns and estimated chargeable income (ECI), GST Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP) submission, and prepare the necessary documents upon enquiry.
• Prepare consolidated group accounts
• Prepare draft financial statements for companies which are subjected to statutory audit and for exempt companies
• Assist in new processes and system implementation, update/ review of Accounting Financial Manual and Accounting Policies when required
• Liaise with internal business units and external parties (e.g. company secretary, auditors, bankers, tax authorities etc.)
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Specifications

Minimum qualifications/ Experience required:

• Minimum ACCA or recognised degree in Accountancy – At least 6 years of experience in full set of accounts (audit and/or commercial)
• Intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in preparing consolidated group accounts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
• Able to multi-task and prioritise work scope efficiently
• Positive attitude and resourceful, and a team player

Preferred qualifications:

Roles & Responsibilities :-

1. Class 3 Driver to drive 14 ft lorry with valid Singapore Driving License.

Job Description

The Turnaround discipline covers the development of Turnaround strategies and the planning, coordinating and execution of Turnaround events (including the financial and people aspects and scheduling).

What’s the role?

This is a 12-month contract role.

Your principal accountabilities as a Construction Engineer will include:

• Leads and execute construction activities within Shell Jurong Island (SJI) for Turnaround Event 2025 especially C-10402 partial replacement works including associated works assigned by the event manager and block lead to achieve sustainable, top quartile (TQ) delivery in HSSE, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Turnaround planning, preparation, materials take off and procurement, field execution of the given tasks and activities including active participation in required studies (e.g., Risk identification and Management, 3D design reviews, Constructability studies, etc) to drive safe and flawless turnaround execution.
• Identifies and manages interfaces through regular engagement with stakeholders, including external non-Shell entities. (e.g. EPC contractors, consultants, execution contractors, government regulatory agencies and etc). Manage differing priorities from them to deliver the best possible outcomes for the site.
• Jointly develop execution plans (including HSSE & quality) in partnership with internal Shell stakeholders (e.g. Turnaround, Projects, Engineering Disciplines, Operations, Maintenance). Identifies and manages risk from simultaneous operations or activities. Proposes practical alternatives to stakeholders for consideration. Implements mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with external/internal stakeholders for planning and scheduling. Develop and sustain ways of working, including progress measurement, forecasting and control.
• Ensures all construction activities comply with regulatory and company HSSE standards and requirements.
• Demonstrate and role model positive Leadership attributes; personal integrity and authenticity, inspire & aspire, collaborative, commercial mindset and deliver extraordinary business outcomes.
• Develops and deploy suitable digitalization tools to drive collaboration and better decision making. (e.g., through use of “live” data and analytics, digital construction checklist, Smart Torque system)

I. Core Responsibilities & Performance Expectations

1.Facilitate digital project delivery and collaboration

· Develop and maintain up to date Building Information Modelling (BIM) models throughout project construction period.

· Adhere to project information requirements, modelling and exchange protocols for information sharing among project stakeholders

2.Documentation and Perform Project/Company BIM deliverables

3.Coordination and Drawing Production

· Perform clash detection and document discrepancies/ clashes to discuss in weekly ICE meeting.
