Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Application Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on providing comprehensive training and technical application support to our clients utilizing our construction finishing robots including painting and skimming robots. Your expertise will ensure clients can maximize the benefits and efficiency of our robotic systems.

Comprehensive local and overseas training will be provided for selected candidate, culminating in a certification upon successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on training sessions for clients and operators on the effective use and maintenance of our painting robots.
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients to resolve operational issues with the painting robots.
• Collaborate with the engineering and robot development teams to provide feedback gathered from training sessions and client interactions.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate robot performance and provide tailored recommendations for optimal usage in specific construction environments.
• Assist in the setup and configuration of finishing robots for various projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in robotic technology and painting processes to continuously improve training content and support services.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars to educate potential clients about the benefits and functionalities of robotic painting solutions.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Fresh Graduate will be considered
• Experience in application engineering or technical support, preferably in robotics or automation will be an advantage
• Good basic understanding of robotic systems and their applications
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to support.
• Willingness to travel to client job sites for training and support as needed.

1. Assist to identify and correct unsafe conditions and work practices;
2. Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace;
3. Ensure that all works are performed according to the approved method statement, risk assessment, and SWP;
4. Maintain all equipment and machinery on site and ensure all required certificates are in place;
5. Conduct and keep record of daily WSHE inspection;
6. Carry out daily joint WSHE inspection together with sub-contractor’s WSH Coordinator/ Supervisor and timely rectify any unsafe acts or conditions;

Accounts Executive

Hexacon Construction is seeking an accounts executive immediately.

What’s on offer

This is a permanent role based at Balestier Road.

· SGD 2,600 - $3,700 monthly, depending on experience and qualifications

Reporting to the Finance Controller and Senior Accountant, you are responsible for:

· Maintain accounting general ledgers within accounting software and on Excel

· Perform general ledger, bank, supplier statement reconciliation

· Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, quarterly GST Form 5

· Assist with auditor and tax agent queries, providing of relevant information

· Accurate data entry into claims submission, supplier and payment processing

· Other ad-hoc duties

The successful candidate should:

· Degree / diploma in accountancy

· Ideally, 1-3 years of accounting experience. However, fresh degree / diploma graduates are still welcome to apply

Job Description:

• Manage the recruitment process for construction staff (e.g., engineers, coordinators, managers) and site workers.
• Utilize job portals, recruitment agencies, and social media platforms to identify potential candidates.
• Conduct initial resume screenings and shortlist candidates for interviews with hiring managers.
• Schedule interviews with candidates and assist in the interview process.
• Support in making job offers and negotiating terms with selected candidates.
• Maintain and update recruitment records, including interview outcomes and new joiner documentation.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new joiners, including briefing them on administrative details and benefits.
• Organizing recruitment campaigns, job fairs and other events to attract candidates.
• Handle processes related to work pass applications and statutory requirements for housing, medical etc.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes for both construction staff and workers.
• Knowledge of local employment laws, work permits, and foreign worker regulations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Public Relations Officer (PRO), with a minimum 3 years' relevant experience and designate a team of staff who are familiar with multimedia presentation, from the commencement of the Works up to the Substantial Completion of the Works.
• Handling feedback and complaints from client and public in a professional manner.
• Provide full public relations services to the project.
• Work closely with Project Manager and team.
• Provide administrative assistance to the team.
• Other ad hoc duties assigned by project management from time to time.
• The PRO shall liaise with and assist the Employer's Corporate Communications Group (CCG) , as well as Manager for Community Partnership Division (MCPN) for all public relations matters in connection with the Contract.
• The PRO is to place top priority in PR matters and public feedback.
• The PRO shall be 24 hours contactable by the Employer.

Requirements:

• Possess public relations experience in construction industry is an advantage.
• Good communication skills.
• Pleasant personality, good team player, and proactive.
• Willing to work at project site office.
• Attached to a team and required to support projects managed by your team.
• Any degree, however civil and construction are preferred.
