DESCRIPTION OF JOB TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Mechanic

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair services to all US Navy and Air Force Vehicle and Equipment under BOS contract in accordance with USN P-300 & USAF TCTO’s.
• Troubleshoot, overhaul and repair equipment mechanical & electrical system defect. (transmission, Clutch, brakes, power train, under chassis, steering, differential, alternator starter motor etc.)
• Troubleshoot repair light and heavy vehicles electrical circuit and accessories (Alternator, Starter Motor, Wiper Motor)
• Perform repair balancing and replacement of different type of tire use by vehicles and equipment under BOS contract.
• Perform vehicle lift maintenance and lubrication once a month
• Maintenance for MHE Equipment & Maintenance of Light/Heavy vehicle
• Accomplish other related duties as assigned by designated AGE Manager.

BASIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. Have Valid Driver License

2. Have a minimum two years of experience on assigned GSE/MHE contained within this contract or similar equipment.

3. At a minimum must be able to inspect, perform preventive maintenance, service systems, determine serviceability, troubleshoot/diagnose and repair maintenance malfunctions, overhaul and modify.

4. Familiar with Technical orders, Work Cards, Manuals and Publications.

5. Speak, read, and write technical English fluently

Graduated with Vocational or Technical Trade in School of Mechanics.

Job Description

· Control and communicate with batching plant for concrete works.

· Site quality inspection for any on-going works at all locations for concrete works.

· Off-site and On-site quality inspection for Structural Steel works.

· Lead and supervise QC inspectors providing guidance and support to meet quality standards while overseeing daily QC inspection activities.

· Maintenance and calibration of measuring equipment.

· Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES (E.g. Job Scope) :

Senior Quantity Surveyor to assist and support Project Director (PD) and Contract Manager (CM) on cost and contractual issues, e.g.: -

· Procurement including quantities take-off, compilation of relevant Specifications and Requirements, drafting the work matrix, sourcing quotations, cost comparison, procurement assessment and recommendation to management for approval.

· To administrate and deal with sub-contractor or supplier, including preparing subcontract document (based on the approved template), progress payment evaluation, assessing variation orders, final account etc.

·.To assist PD and CM preparing Main Contract progress claim, variation order and claim justification.

REQUIREMENT (E.g. Qualifications, Certifications, Experience) :

· Educational Level and the field of study: _Tertiary Education in Quantity Surveying fields

· Type of experience required: experience in infrastructure or underground tunnelling projects

· Amount of experience: 8 years related experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects. Related tender work experience would be considered too.

• Issue enquiry to get quotation and prepare cost comparison and recommendations.
• Prepare and register purchase order (PO) to management approval and regularize PO to the approved vendor.
• Liaise with vendors including monitor their delivery schedule and compile delivery order (DO).
• Verify and prepare payment to vendors.
• Update material usage / consumption record.
• Knowledge on shipping / forwarding services.
• Any other assignments within PO role.
