Ensuring that works carried out by construction coordinators and subcontractors are in accordance with specifications, drawings and stipulated work programme. At the same time making sure that quality requirement, standards and MEP construction materials are efficiently utilized. The MEP Engineer plays a key role in coordinating with client’s representative, consultants, subcontractor, other trade coordinators, and BIM (Building Information Modelling) team, and managing a team of construction coordinators to ensure project is completed profitably.

The Snr Quantity Surveyor, oversee the works of a group of Quantity Surveyors, playing a critical role of managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures, seeking to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality. Many of these are specified by statutory building regulations, which the surveyor needs to understand and adhere to. Snr Quantity Surveyors keep track, throughout project progression, of variations to the contract that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability estimates and manages the cost relating to building project.

• Support the Contracts Manager in overseeing and guiding a team of project QS
• Assist in preparing cost budget, prepare cash flow for project, track changes in design/construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
• Assist in the extension of time and costs claims
• Work closely with the project team to ensure the timely award of subcontractors and suppliers
• Communicate with the technical team to ensure that quotations comply with specifications and the method of construction
• Produce quantity measurement within the targeted timeline
• Prepare and call quotations, including analyzing and evaluating for costing of tender; or negotiate and award of subcontracts for the project
• Review and prepare agreements for award to subcontractors and suppliers
• Certify and evaluate progress work done, including contract administration for variations for both subcontract and main contract works.
• Assess and submit monthly progress claims, and recommend subcontractor’s monthly progress payment
• Finalise subcontract and main contract’s final account.
• Assist in project tendering.

REQUIREMENTS/ COMPETENCIES

• Degree/Diploma in Projects & Facilities Management or Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with A2 Building Contractors in GCB, MOE, HDB, Industrial and etc.
• Highly motivated, self-driven with an initiative to work independently and a good mentor to the QS team. Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong negotiation, and interpersonal skills and a team player
• Proficient in MS Excel and AutoCAD and the ability to learn new specialist software

The Structural Engineer assists the Project Manager in the supervision of all structural works in Project Site. The Structural Engineer plays a key role in coordinating with client’s representative, subcontractor and other trade coordinators and BIM (Building Information Modelling) team, and managing a team of construction coordinators to ensure project is completed profitably.

The Architectural Coordinator assists the Architect & the Project Manager in supervision of all architectural works at Project Site to ensure that works performed by construction coordinators and subcontractors are in accordance with specifications, drawings and stipulated work programme as well as quality requirement, standards and architectural construction materials are efficiently utilized. The Architectural Coordinator plays a key role in coordinating with the client’s representative, consultant, subcontractor, other trade coordinators, and the BIM (Building Information Modelling) team, and managing a team of construction coordinators to ensure the project is completed profitably.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Architecture (Preferably recognized by BOA)

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Good design and installation knowledge of electrical in commercial & industrial buildings.
• With strong leadership skill, ability to be agile, can adapt quickly to change and pivot, high level intiative, project management and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience and proven track records in Singapore.
• Fluent in spoken English.
• Preferably with Class 3 driving license
