This position will collaborate with various functions across the organization to ensure efficient and timely operations of the accounting function.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for full set of accounts (Construction & Trading).

· Review the works of junior executives and provide guidance.

· Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting and schedules.

· Review costs allocation & perform Work-In-Progress (WIP) adjustments for construction projects.

· Monitor, check and reconcile inventories level & movement.

· Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support operational activities.

· Prepare monthly reconciliation of various transactions for accounting reporting purposes.

· Reconcile discrepancies arising between the system and accounting records, proactively seek for solution to identify and minimize the differences.

· Monitor and perform monthly cashflow forecast.

· Support all audit related matters including preparation of financial statements (with notes to accounts) for audit, audit schedules, attend to audit queries and provide information required.

· Prepare corporate tax computation and liaise with tax agents.

· Liaise with corporate secretary to ensure statutory compliance.

· Maintain accounting controls and recommend policies and procedures to enhance process efficiencies.

· Assist in ad hoc analysis, project work and duties assigned.

Requirements:

· Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accountancy or other equivalents (CA SG, ACCA, CPA)

· Qualified accounting/finance professional with at least 5 years of experience.

· Familiar with Financial Reporting Standards, Tax Regulations & Companies Act.

· Prefer candidate with auditing experience.

· A person with commitment to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

· Good communication skills, verbal and written.

· Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, multi-task, delegate, and work effectively with minimal supervision.

· Organised, systematic and meticulous, with an eye for detail.

· Self-directed with a high level of initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the daily operations of building maintenance, cleaning/housekeeping, carpark, fire safety etc to ensure that the building is maintained at highest standards.
• Carry out daily inspections for building defects, cleanliness of premises, performance of security personnel & report any other abnormalities etc.
• Identify & record building defects during the Defects Liability Period & follow up with contractors on the rectifications.
• Supervise contractors in carrying out maintenance or improvement works.
• Attend to tenants' queries, feedback and/or complaints.
• Carry out daily inspection of tenants' fitting-out to ensure that there is no breach in the house rules.
• Be part of the CERT Team (Company Emergency Response Team).
• Prepare incident report for incidents that occur in the building.
• Manage the Fire Command Centre.
• Assist in Fire drill duties.
• Recommend improvements that will enhance the building in terms of operations & maintenance standards.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects that may be assigned.

Requirements:

• GCE 'O' levels, Nitec or equivalent.
• Min 3 years of relevant working experience in Building Operations/Property Management.
• Experience in workplace safety & handling of emergency situation preferred.
• Able to multi-task & work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently & communicate with people of all levels.
