Job Responsibilities

· Handle quotation, cost estimation and pricing with contractors

· Select and award subcontracts, evaluation of progress claims

· Manage all project cost control from initial calculations to final figures

· Evaluating Contractor’s proposal and specifications

· Prepare tender submission, handle progress claims & progress payments, VO & finalization of accounts

· Site supervision & coordination with subcontractors to ensure smooth progress of work

Job Requirements

· 2-3 years and above working experience in the general building construction industry

· Degree in Quantity Surveying & relevant qualifications

· Able to communicate fluently in English & Mandarin (in order to liaise with the English & Mandarin speaking associates)

The accountant will perform the full spectrum of accounts including preparation of financial reports for management, tax calculations and related/ad-hoc work for the business entities. This position will collaborate with various functions across the organization to ensure efficient and timely operations of the accounting function.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for full set of accounts (Construction & Trading).

· Review the works of junior executives and provide guidance.

· Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting and schedules.

· Review costs allocation & perform Work-In-Progress (WIP) adjustments for construction projects.

· Monitor, check and reconcile inventories level & movement.

· Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support operational activities.

· Prepare monthly reconciliation of various transactions for accounting reporting purposes.

· Reconcile discrepancies arising between the system and accounting records, proactively seek for solution to identify and minimize the differences.

· Monitor and perform monthly cashflow forecast.

· Support all audit related matters including preparation of financial statements (with notes to accounts) for audit, audit schedules, attend to audit queries and provide information required.

· Prepare corporate tax computation and liaise with tax agents.

· Liaise with corporate secretary to ensure statutory compliance.

· Maintain accounting controls and recommend policies and procedures to enhance process efficiencies.

· Assist in ad hoc analysis, project work and duties assigned.

Requirements:

· Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accountancy or other equivalents (CA SG, ACCA, CPA)

· Qualified accounting/finance professional with at least 5 years of experience.

· Familiar with Financial Reporting Standards, Tax Regulations & Companies Act.

· Prefer candidate with auditing experience.
