• To ensure works carried out meet company’s quality standards & contractual requirements.

Job Description & Requirements

• Be responsible for the planning, scheduling, controlling and coordinating of mechanical and electrical works
• Monitor, track, and provide timely project progress reports to the management
• To supervise and control M&E sub-contractors to carry out their works accurately and timely and to ensure that works on site are carried out according to specifications / drawing
• Liaise and hold meetings with clients and M&E consultants on technical resolution, inspection & submission
• Evaluate costing received for M&E works
• To monitor M&E work documents and shop drawings coordination
• Able to ensure that all requirements by Clients, Consultants and relevant Authorities are adhered and established
• Review & co-ordinate subcontractors’ shop drawings and quotations in terms of mechanical and electrical compliance for calling of sub-contract works
• Submission and coordination between sub-contractor, consultants and Project Team
• Supervise and inspect all mechanical and electrical works to ensure quality of work
• To liaison with Consultants for technical clarification
• To monitor and ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approved drawing/specification and complete within schedule time
• To assist in the deployment and storage of M&E materials, plant and equipment delivered by the M&E subcontractors
• Contract administration of M&E subcontracts
• To provide support and arrange the necessary required inspections

1) Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
2) Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Construction / Building / Engineering industry

Job Responsibilities:

• Report to the Project Manager and/or Asst. Project Manager.
• Overall in charge of site coordination.
• Lead a team of operation staff in daily operations.
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project.
• Monitor and control the general workers' deployment on-site.
• Maintain site access throughout the construction period.
• Control and monitor work progress and resources.
• Monitor and control material wastage.
• In-depth understanding of project specifications, technical details, and construction drawings.
• Carry out work scheduling, material requisition planning, project coordination, and documentation.
• Ensure timely completion and good quality of works.
• Monitor Project's cost by taking proactive measures to prevent cost overruns.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management.

Job Requirements:

• Five (5) years of working experience in construction industry.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Diploma holders or equivalent with relevant experience and proven track records will also be considered.
• Independent, diligent, meticulous and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.

• Ability to administrate on ACMV / tender and tendering procedures.
• Good strategies, planning and control of all tendering activities.
• List the scope of work and commercial requirements in order to determine the risks of the projects.
• Prepare and follow up on the Request For Quotations to suppliers / sub-cons in order to ensure tender costing and technical data to be submitted on time.
• Take off Bill of Quantities from the ACMV Drawings, Points of Schedules and Architectural drawings.
• Collate price comparison, costing summary and technical proposal in order to prepare tender submission.
• Study the addendum and / or corrigendum documents and update costing summary with technical proposal accordingly.
• Maintain relevant documentation in an orderly and proper manner.
• Attend site briefing / site meeting / post tender interview when necessary.
