• Assists Project Manager in the co-ordination of project management activities to ensure that projects are executed in a smooth and effective manner;

• Assists Project Manager in carrying out all shop drawings and submission with Drafting Department;

Responsibilities:

Shipbuilding Planning and Preparation

• Confirmation of construction schedule, detailed drawings, and specifications. Participation in regular meetings with shipowners, shipyards, designers, and other relevant parties.

Preparation for cable laying work after delivery

• Order and load the materials and equipment needed for the cable laying work. Planning the suitable crew rotation schedule and the operation schedule. Cable installation project planning support.

Defect warranty

• When a machine problem occurs, troubleshoot to identify the cause and resolve it after delivery.
• Negotiate compensation with the shipyard in the event of a problem occurring and maintain the ship in a sound condition.

Cable laying Project Operation and Vessel Maintenance

• Quickly identify the cause of mechanical or electrical troubles in the working vessels and establish a proper restore/repair plan. Take precautions to prevent troubles on working vessels. Handle operational issues, repairs, and/or modifications to Cable laying Vessel fleet.
• Liaise and coordinate with various stakeholders, Vessel master’s shipyard and vendors to schedule repairs and maintenance needed for the operations. Prepare proposals for docking requirements and specifications. Check and ensure that spare parts inventory management and condition are sufficient to support repair and maintenance schedules. Ensure quality, environment, health & safety requirements are met.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience with a degree in Electronic and Control Systems Engineering or a recognised degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the engineer.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience overseas.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of working onboard construction vessels related to “offshore wind farms” or “dredgers”.
• Experience in design and electrical diagrams by CAD or other software such as Electrical control diagram and Onboard equipment/vessel design modification
• Experience in method engineering and planning of ships and ship equipment such as Method for piling and WTG installation
• Experience in large dredging project sites.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise that the ship is built according to specifications and approved plans
• Supervise that the ship is built for compliance with relevant IMO regulations, Rules and Regulations for the Classification and Regulations flag country
• Review technical and building specifications and plans for shipbuilding
• Quickly identify the cause of troubles that occurred during shipbuilding and establish proper solutions
• Take precautions to prevent troubles during shipbuilding
• Liaise and coordinate with various stakeholders, shipyard, designer, vendors, Classification society, and flag country for technical and procedural issues during shipbuilding
• Ensure quality, environment, health & safety requirements are met

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering
• Minimum fifteen(15) years of experience in either of four(4) major IACS Classification Society, ABS, Class NK, DNV or LR
• Proficiency in plan approval for hull structure in new construction projects of merchant ships the length of which is more than 200 metres (more than ten(10) different designs)
• Experience in plan approval for Zero-emission related works, such as; Carbon Capture and Storage system and Alternative fuel
• Experience in design review for novel design of hull structures, such as; Unusual hull form, proportion and structural arrangement
• Experience in structural strength assessment for sloshing in large tanks, such as; Cargo tanks (GTT MK III membrane system) of LNG tanker
• Experience in management as a member of the leadership team of the Classification Society in any country.
• Good knowledge of Rules and Regulations for Classification of Ship, IMO International conventions and codes etc. with experience in the development and maintenance of the Rules
• Good knowledge of innovative technology in the marine industry, such as; Wind-Assisted Propulsion System
• Positive working attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive troubleshooting/finding root cause during shipbuilding

Responsibilities:

• Confirm compliance with IMO, classification society (ClassNK) and inspections stipulated by the Japanese government (JG) and comply with technical standards.
• Manage budgets and procure and manage materials and equipment appropriately.
• Safe work planning by setting workplace safety rules and engaging in safety training.
• Thorough control and rapid response in spare parts stock management, repairs, and maintenance.
• To formulate plans, check progress and control quality accurately.
• Facilitate coordination with relevant parties (shipyards, classification society, manufacturers, etc.) to ensure smooth operations. Identifying and resolving problems in the field and proposing improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
• Prepare progress reports and report them to head office.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience operating and maintaining working vessels in the owner's capacity.
• Degree in Electrical and or Electronic Engineering
• Experience in working at civil construction sites such as Jetty construction, Dredging, Ground improvement
• Experience in dredging and planning electrical equipment.
• Experience in Dredger salvage operation.
• Experience in dredging works using Grab dredgers.Good knowledge of Electrical circuit diagrams such as Electrical wiring for the assembly-type dredger.
• Good knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers and programming such as PLC ladder, function block etc.
• Sufficient skills and experience are required in ship-related operations, as well as operational efficiency and troubleshooting skills.
• Well-versed in ship maintenance requirements.
• Positive working attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive troubleshooting/finding root cause with the ship's crew on board.
• Positive personality, always willing to communicate and cooperate with shipyard personnel and ship's crew, and able to identify root causes and suggest appropriate countermeasures in resolving problems.

Job Description:

• Control and manage resources including labour and machinery on site.
• Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done by subcontractors.
• Monitor and manage work progress of subcontractors.
• Manage and resolve technical issues.
• Assist in planning and sequencing of the construction operations according to the Project Quality Plan.

Job Description

• Preparing the list of works, materials, tools, machinery, and other things to be used.
• Conduct inspections before and after the work and plan the work for the given task.
• Communicate closely with supervisors by updating the works before, in progress, after, or after completion of on-site work.
• Preparing walls and other surfaces before painting outside/ Gondolas.
• Putty/Plaster to repair cracks.
• Hands-on support to building operations.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of the designated places.
• Documentation of scheduled routine findings and rectification.
• Attend to all work orders issued by the operations and management
• Knowledgeable in mixing and applying paint for painting.
• Able to protect furniture and fixtures before and during painting
• Daily routine inspection of building premises, safety measures, etc.
• To perform any ad hoc tasks as required
• Must attend early morning site meetings.
• Follows all required safety procedures.

• Supervision of pipe laying and pipe jacking works.
• Preparation of daily jacking record and progress report.
• Provide engineering support in tendering of new project.
• Performs design calculations, assist with budget review.

Requirements :

• Possess a degree in Civil Engineering recognised by Singapore Professional Engineers Board.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipe laying and pipe jacking works.
• Experience with AutoCad.
• Possess Class 3 driving licence.
• Able to work independently.
