Report to QMR / QAQC Manager·

Assist QAQC Manager to implement site quality assurance and quality control system on.·

Coordinates and performs inspections of raw materials and finished products, applying appropriate quality assurance testing models.·

Identifies the root cause of quality problems, coordinates modifications or other corrective actions.·

Monitor and maintain the records of tools and instruments for calibration and ensure validity of all on-board equipment·

Ensures contract compliance by reviewing and approving quality requirements for supplier purchase orders, manufacturing and other related services.·

Assist to setup QAQC controls for subcontractors·

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:·

Thorough understanding of concrete technology, inspection, quality control and qualifty assurance procedures including the production of high quality pre-cast reinforced concrete tunnel segmental linings.

Education and Experience:·

Bachelors degree in Engineering with at least five years of related experience in managing quality control procedures for high quality pre-cast reinforced concrete tunnel segmental linings.·

Associates degree with related coursework plus a certified quality engineer certificate

Organize the hoisting of components by connecting cables and slings to the components and directing crane operators

After placing post-tensioning systems, stress the tendons to predetermined specifications using hydraulic jacks and pumps

Ensure the quality of the work performed and that the building has the proper reinforcement

8. Leadership

Train and lead foreign workers to complete daily tasks together, reasonably arrange the division of labor and assistance of team members, and participate in progress management.

Job Description

• Plan, develop and monitor work schedules to ensure timely completion of allocated tasks and schedules

About the role

Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise sub-contractors by selecting and evaluating them as well as monitoring and controlling their performance
• Travel to and supervise multiple sites during the course of a day
• Accomplish project goals by defining scope and purpose of the project, determining required resources, allocating resources, establishing protocols and standards, scheduling staff, resolving design problems, evaluating deadline estimates and adjusting as needed, and implementing change orders
• Fulfill human resource needs by hiring, training, scheduling, assigning, coaching, and disciplining employees; adhering to procedures and policies; recommending compensation; and communicating job expectations
• Meet construction budget by providing capital budget and annual operating information, identifying variances, and monitoring project expenses
• Approve projects by gaining approvals from buyers and performing inspections at critical phases
• Meet operational standards by resolving problems, contributing information to strategic plans, and identifying improvements
• Maintain healthy and safe work environment by enforcing procedures and standards and complying with legal regulations
