Objectives of this role

Job Description:

Job Description Summary

Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Assistant Facilities Manager supports the facilities organization at a specific location, set of buildings, or campus environment. The Assistant Facilities Manager is charged with supporting the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, programs and workplace services delivery that provides a well-managed and well-maintained building. · Perform the scoping work and prepare the job pack for process piping and in-service equipment based on engineering assessment and annual inspection plan.

· Plan and carry out fixed equipment/piping inspection via on-stream risk-based monitoring programs and downtime inspection activities including corrosion under Insulation (CUI) and corrosion under pipe support (CUP) on process piping and equipment according to annual maintenance plan

The WSH Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive workplace safety and health management system in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, regulations, and industry standards. The primary goal of the WSH Manager is to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors on-site by identifying potential risks, implementing preventive measures, and promoting safety awareness across the organization.

1. Develop, implement, and review the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure compliance with local regulations, industry best practices, and organizational needs.
2. Maintain and ensure the continuous improvement of the SMS, including emergency response procedures, risk assessments, and hazard control measures.
3. Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of the SMS and identify areas for improvement.
4. Ensure that all activities at the workplace comply with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and other relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering (preferably Civil or Environmental), Construction Management, or a related field.
