• Liaising with client daily and attend weekly meetings on keeping them up to date on site progress
• Coordination with external vendor on delivery of their equipment
• Ensure experience transfer between projects, operations and discipline network.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related engineering disciplines, Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcomed to apply
• Candidates with at least 10 years of relevant experience in the marine & offshore industry
• Able to station overseas in China
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
• Able to motivate in a challenging work environment
• Good in planning, organising, interpersonal skills and able to work independently

Responsibilities:

• Analysing and extracting all submission’s requirement from the tender documentx.
• Responsible for planning, scheduling, controlling the cost of materials, shop drawings submission, coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects
• Work closely with the project team, planning and deploying resources such as manpower, machinery, equipment, and material
• Liaising and coordinating with all parties involved in the projects, ie clients, consultants, relevant authorities and sub-contractors
• Working closely on construction plans with clients, architects, and other professionals
• Investigating the properties of materials like glass, steel, and concrete, and advising which is the most suitable
• Working out the loads and stresses on different parts of a structure
• In charge of project implementation, attending site meetings, inspection, and monitoring of project progress
• Prepare for monthly work progress reports and other project-related reports
• Responsible to ensure safe work procedures are implemented to control risk and maintain cleanliness of the work sites at all times
• Other related duties as and when assigned

Qualifications:

• Polytechnic Diploma/ Degree/ Master in Civil Engineering/Marine Engineering/Construction
• At least 4 years of relevant working experience
• Good team player, able to lead and multi task
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• MS Office skills – Excel/Words/Powerpoint
• Proficient in AutoCad
• Time management and organisation skills
• Positive working attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Review specifications, clarifications, and drawings.
• Schedule works, requisition materials, control costs, and supervise projects.
• Coordinate with Structural, Architectural, and M&E teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure timely progress and compliance with safety and regulations.
• Conduct QA/QC and enforce safety on-site.
• Prepare progress and handover reports.
• Handle additional assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalents.
• Working experience in A1/A2 building companies is preferred.
