Project Coordinator
Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join Sunpeak Construction. This role is essential to ensure our projects are executed efficiently, safely, and on schedule, aligning with our high standards of quality and compliance. As a Project Coordinator, you will support project management efforts, coordinate team activities, and resolve on-site issues to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision: Ensure all site work aligns with construction drawings and specifications, maintaining high standards and accuracy.
- Project Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones and schedules to ensure timely completion and report any delays or risks.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential site issues and work to resolve them by implementing corrective or preventive measures.
- Safety & Compliance: Uphold Sunpeak’s safety protocols and ensure adherence to building regulations and codes at all times.
- Project Documentation: Assist the Project Manager in developing project documents, including schedules, scope statements, and comprehensive project plans.
- Administrative Support: Perform administrative and bookkeeping tasks to support project management operations.
- Technical Coordination: Participate in site meetings, providing updates and addressing technical concerns with clarity.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with project managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain seamless communication.
- Drawing Coordination: Collaborate with drafters and subcontractors to propose, amend, and submit accurate project drawings and revisions.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Building, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Skills:
- Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong sense of initiative and analytical skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, and a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Autodesk AutoCAD is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, bilingual in Mandarin and English for effective liaison with diverse stakeholders.
