A). Safety Coordinator Role
1. Must have at least 5 years Pharmaceutical & clean room working environment experience
2. Must have driving licence (Class 3) with experiences
3. Develop, implement and monitor Occupational Health and Safety Programs, Procedures & Safety Management System
3. Prepare and Submit Method Statement & Risk Assessment (MSRA) for routine activities to get approval from Clients including Lifting plans.
4. Prepare and conduct daily Toolbox meeting, weekly/monthly safety meetings and record all the minutes of meetings.
5. Conduct In-house safety training to the employees & organize safety campaign to promote the safety, health & environmental awareness for all employees
6. Arrange daily work for safety workers and supervise a team of safety workers for safety provision
7. Arrange for employees to undergo necessary safety-related training as well as medical checks to comply with all statutory requirements on occupational safety and health.
8. Manage of day-to-day smooth operations for safety matters
9. Assist & evaluate in auditing of safety management system
10. Conduct Site Inspections. Identify and assess any foreseeable risk, unsafe conditions or unsafe work practices carried out at the workplace.
11. Liaise closely with Client to align the safety matters.
12. Monitor and supervise site operations to ensure the works on site are carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with statutory requirements
13. Assist to Investigate all incidents, dangerous occurrence or occupational disease that occur at site, submit accident reports and recommend to Management corrective actions to prevent recurrences
14. Conduct Permit to work training for Permit Applicants
15. Apply/assess PTW for WSHE works and ensure work carried out is in accordance with WSH requirements.
16. Update and brief SDS to workforce
17.Follows all safety regulations and precautions, ensuring safe practices are adopted and maintained on-site.
B. Site Supervisor Role
01. Able to communicate to all levels and attend site meetings including every morning safety meeting with all the workers on a daily basis.
02. To carry out supervisory roles in day-to-day site activities including taking care of workers.
03. Ensure all works are carried out within schedule and maintains the required quality.
04. To liaise with Clients and other contractors to ensure smooth operation.
05. Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
06. Checking and ensuring all plans and works are accomplish as per specifications/contract.
07. To ensure proper handover of projects to client.
