Job Descriptions:

• Assist in pre-contract works to obtain the project in Southeast Asia.
• Focus on CSA works for the tender jobs
• Proceed with the post tender upon award of the project
• Monitor and review master construction programme and preparation of catch-up programme if applicable
• Monitor and supervise Engineers/foreman, ensure compliance of the qualify procedure & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors
• Preparation of detailed programme for site team to follow accordingly and complete on time
• Resolve drawing discrepancies and technical difficulties with technical team
• Preparation of detailed method statements and work instructions for construction
• Coordinate between Client (LTA) / sub-contractors /inter-departments and monitor site manpower and resources to meet schedules
• Liaise with the Design team on the submission of related M&E works and technical issues
• Plan all works on site, including programme schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement usage etc
• Monitor progress against programme and cost against budget
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment
• Ensure works are compliant with the specifications and QA requirements

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 10 years of relevant expereince in project management i.e. RC works, Electrical works which includes experience in tunnelling projects with 5 years in Senior Project Engineer or M&E Manager roles and operational experience.

· Liaising with and attending site briefings and meetings with relevant parties to ensure smooth project flow and timely completion

Project Management:

· Skilled in managing tender, drafting subcontracts agreements, handling VO & EOT claims and familiar with construction and Authorities’ regulations.

· Advising site teams on contractual issues for ongoing projects ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Communication:

· Excellent communication skills, adept at liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project team members.

· Strong ability to understand client objectives and needs.

· Prepared and finalized quotations and proposals based on client's needs.

Cost Control:

· Obtained competitive quotations from subcontractors for quote/cost comparison to managed cost and budgets.

· Experienced in progress claims and payments, cost control, variation orders and finalization of accounts and in preparing project budgeting estimations.

Technical Skills:

· Experienced in site measurement, take-off quantities, bill of quantities preparation and materials calculations.

· Proficient in AutoCAD, Planswift and Microsoft Office.

Flexibility:

· Adaptable and open to change, capable of adjusting to different situations and requirements.

· Committed and with a strong sense of responsibility, reliability and ownership of tasks.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or other relevant Construction Degree
