Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.

Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.

Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored (MOS, ITP, RA, safe work procedures).

Assist manager preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.

Communicate with contractors to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.

Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.

Able to coordinate site work within trade contractors.

Able and assist to prepare SD (coordinated shop Drawing) of M&E trades.

Able to produce 2 weeks Look Ahead program or schedule.

Able to conduct or lead site walk and presentation.

Able to identify deviation of work within M&E work scopes.

Able to prepare, conduct inspection and track progress.

Able to conduct morning Tool Box meeting.

Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned.

• Overall, responsible for the quantity surveying activities, ensuring accurate cost estimation, cost control, and cost management throughout project.
• Prepare and check Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Give expert advice on cost-related matters to project teams, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions.
• Perform regular cost assessments and prepare reports detailing project cost performance, variations, and potential risks.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• At least 7 years as a QS Manager experience in Building Construction/Hospital Building Project.
• Good knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation techniques, and cost control procedures.
• Able to read and interpret structural drawings.
