Interior Design Quantity Surveyor
Key Responsibilities
1. Cost Management: Prepare, manage, and control construction project costs, including budgets, estimates, and tender documents.
2. Tendering and Procurement: Assist in preparing and evaluating tenders, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with procurement regulations.
3. Contract Administration: Administer construction contracts, including reviewing and advising on contract terms, conditions, and variations.
4. Cost Estimating and Analysis: Prepare and analyze cost estimates, including quantifying materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
5. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and disputes related to construction projects.
6. Site Visits and Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
7. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
8. Change Management: Manage and negotiate changes to project scope, budget, or timeline.
9. Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving disputes and claims related to construction projects.
10. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to project costs, progress, and issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- Able to communicate in English and Mandarin is a must (To liaise with Mandarin speaking associates)
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Proficient in MS Office and possesses good communication skills.
- Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive & able to meet tight deadlines
- 5 days work week
