Pre-Construction Stage

• Assists in preparing the key commercial control documents such as the Procurement Schedule, Cashflow Forecast and Margin Improvement Strategy to ensure the project is well planned.

We are seeking an individual with QA/QC experience in the civil, structural, and architectural ("CSA") trades for the position of a QA/QC Engineer for Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations. The candidate will assist with the QA/QC program throughout the design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, the candidate will be responsible for assuring the implementation and compliance with the Quality Assurance System and for scope of work related to civil, structural, and architectural items. At times and, when necessary, the QA/QC CSA engineer will fill in for the QA/QC Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineers.

It is expected the candidate will be a very detailed and organized individual with extensive previous experience working as a QA/QC on large, international projects with deep knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural systems. There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work understanding and implementing the VDC QA/QC systems. Responsibilities:

• Deliver training courses and assessments in accordance with the facilitator and assessment guides as assigned by the Training Lead with the highest standards of ethics, integrity and professionalism.
• Assist the Training Lead to schedule trainings and ensure delivery of training meets the construction demands.

Role Description (Primary)

This is a full-time role for a Deputy Construction Department Manager. The Deputy Department Manager will work closely with the Construction Department Manager, Engineering Manager and other engineering disciplines to strengthen the construction team and participate in management reviews and other administrative activities as well as project specific activities such as construction planning and cost estimation, proposal preparation, and manhour planning in the bidding and tendering phase.
