Meetings

• Ensure all correspondences, statutory notifications and enquiries are promptly handled

Emergency Response

Event Management

Responsibilities & Requirements:
Oversee day to day operations of the facility.
Able to understand construction drawings.
Schedule preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting to all activities relating to the project.
Monitor and control material management on site as to ensure proper storage and unnecessary
wastage.
Foster positive communications and relationships with team members, management, vendors and
clients.
Provide site safety and security, devise and implement site policies and procedures.
Supervise and evaluate staff, complete employee reviews; keep accurate records of employee
attendance and timesheets; provide positive direction to motivate quality performance, discipline
personnel when necessary and appropriate.
Set project goals and oversee projects to completion, schedule and track assignments.
Communicate with customers regarding products and services.
Liaise and work closely with contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Coordination:Supervise the installation of aluminum and glass doors and windows, including custom designs, standard systems, and curtain walls.
   Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand the design requirements and construction schedules.
   Ensure that construction schedules are followed and that doors and windows are delivered and installed on time.
   Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of materials and ensure proper handling of glass and aluminum components.
   
2. Team Leadership & Supervision:Lead and manage teams of construction workers, installers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
   Provide training, direction, and guidance to workers, especially in handling and installing delicate materials like glass and aluminum.
   Ensure workers understand and adhere to company and industry standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
   Monitor the performance of workers, providing feedback and resolving any issues related to productivity or safety.
   
3. Quality Control & Compliance:Conduct regular quality checks and inspections on aluminum and glass door/window systems to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards.
   Ensure that the installations comply with local building codes, energy efficiency standards, and safety regulations.
   Address any installation issues, such as misalignments or material defects, and ensure prompt corrective action.
   
4. Safety Management:Enforce strict safety protocols on-site, especially concerning the handling and installation of heavy or fragile materials like aluminum frames and glass panes.
   Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and industry-specific safety guidelines related to glass handling, fall protection, and proper use of tools and machinery.
   Perform daily safety checks, organize safety meetings, and maintain a safe working environment for all crew members.
   
5. Material & Equipment Management:Oversee the proper storage, handling, and usage of materials, such as aluminum framing, glass panes, hardware, and sealing materials.
   Ensure that construction tools and equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and available on-site.
   Track inventory levels and collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
   
6. Client & Stakeholder Communication:Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, project managers, and subcontractors regarding progress, concerns, and changes.
   Provide regular status updates and reports on construction milestones, delays, or challenges.
   Address any client-specific requests or design modifications during the installation process, ensuring customer satisfaction.
   
7. Budget & Resource Control:Monitor the project budget, keeping track of expenditures for materials, labor, and equipment.
   Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising quality, including exploring alternative materials or methods for installation.
   Control waste and optimize the use of materials to stay within budget.Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in construction management, industrial engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: At least 15 years of experience in construction, with a focus on the installation of aluminum and glass doors/windows, and at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Certifications: OSHA certification is required. Additional certifications in construction management, glazing, or installation of aluminum and glass systems are beneficial.

• Industry-Specific Knowledge: Strong understanding of aluminum and glass materials, installation techniques, and the unique considerations for working with doors and windows in construction projects.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural blueprints and technical drawings specific to aluminum and glass installations.

Physical Requirements:

• Comfort working in various weather conditions and at heights, particularly for the installation of windows and doors in multi-story buildings.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry materials for extended periods.
