We are hiring a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team for a challenging and rewarding role in the construction industry. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with a strong preference for experience in Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore’s SPPG (Standard Provision for Roadworks and Streetworks) projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure timely and quality execution of projects according to specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the Project Office and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
• Actively participate in project management meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Monitor and manage site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Resolve any issues or challenges that arise on-site, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Manage project teams and subcontractors, providing leadership and guidance to ensure optimal performance.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting in line with company and client requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience in Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore's SPPG projects is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and manage long working hours, including a 6-day workweek.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to attend and contribute to project management meetings effectively.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: $4,300 to $4,600 per month, commensurate with experience.

• Plan and execute construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure project alignment with design specifications.

• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore's building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to manage progress of the project to make sure that the schedule is kept.
• Lead team to manage project operations, schedule, and specifications.
• Manage operational cost to keep cost within the budget.
• Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards.
• Manage subcontractors’ activities to ensure compliance of contract requirements.
• Monitor compliance of work with the workplace safety and health regulations.
• Monitor quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.
• Oversee the project team and subcontractors in delivery of project to meet completion date.
• Provides leadership to the project management and construction team.
• Supervise daily site activities.
