Our client is a global MNC in real estate and investment management. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Property Officer be part of their Facilities Team for ongoing transformation projects.

Duties of Property Officer:

• Assist in day-to-day property maintenance and operational support.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor vendor performance to confirm services meet established KPIs.
• Organize and oversee minor repair and improvement work.
• Obtain quotations and coordinate with contractors for repair tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and standardized systems on-site.
• Be on-call to respond to emergencies and urgent breakdowns.
• Supervise major repair work and assist in annual electrical shutdown events.
• Conduct inspections for building and equipment upkeep.

Requirements:

• Nitec / Diploma in related field
• Relevant experience with Facilities Management / Commercial Building settings

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the construction site for multiple landed house projects.
• Supervise and manage construction workers, subcontractors, and labor teams.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress and compliance with building codes and design specifications.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure the proper storage of construction materials.
• Ensure the proper installation of structural elements, plumbing, electrical, and finishing works.
• Identify and resolve any construction issues, delays, or challenges as they arise.
• Maintain accurate project records, including daily progress reports, work logs, and inventory.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve design or construction issues.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and ensure that workers are using appropriate protective equipment.
• Implement quality control measures and conduct final inspections before handover.
• Enforce compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable building practices.
• Manage and track the project budget to prevent cost overruns.
• Lead regular site meetings with stakeholders to discuss project status, updates, and any issues.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a construction supervisor or similar role in landed house construction.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction techniques, and regulations.
• Proficient in reading drawings and construction plans.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems effectively.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Certification in construction management or relevant field preferred.
• Valid safety certifications is a plus.
• Valid car driving license is preferred to travel between sites and manage material deliveries.
• Ability to work in challenging weather conditions and tight deadlines.

Working Conditions:

• On-site presence required.
• Occasional overtime or weekend work as needed to meet project deadlines.
• Physical ability to inspect and supervise construction work on-site.

• Support planning, leasing, and tenant mix reviews.
• Negotiate leasing terms and track documentation.
• Plan and execute online/offline A&P campaigns.
• Collaborate with partners to boost sales/footfall.
• Handle complaints, reports, and duty management tasks.

Requirements:

• Minimum Dip/Deg in Marketing/Business with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Prior working experience in retail/property industry will be an advantage.
