Job Description

• Manage a diverse portfolio of general insurance policies (e.g., Public Liability, WICA, Property, PI, D&O) for new and existing corporate clients.
• Oversee renewals for existing client accounts across varying sizes and premium values.
• Managing all paperwork and coordination from the pre-renewal stage through to post-renewal, ensuring timely completion of payment and documentation.
• Handle mid-term policy adjustments, client queries, and escalations promptly and efficiently.
• Assist with claims processing, liaising with insurers and clients, and drafting detailed claims reports.
• Prepare tailored claims reports, conduct detailed analysis, and present insights to insured parties based on their requirements.
• Respond to new business inquiries, engaging with leads generated from various initiatives.
• Propose customized solutions for B2B insurance requirements and explore opportunities for cross-selling other lines of business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare reports as required and work on RFP’s such as tenders
• Negotiate with insurers to secure optimal outcomes for clients while ensuring timely delivery of services and solutions.
• Draft quotations and manage follow-ups for client proposals and renewals. Proven ability to pitch and present effectively to clients.
• Maintain accurate and updated documentation in relevant systems.
• Assist with quotations, proposals, and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree holder.
• BCP, PGI, and ComGI certifications are required for licensing.
• Proactive, service-oriented, and sales-driven with a positive, results-focused mindset.
• Proven ability to pitch and present effectively to clients.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of MEP systems, elevators, HVAC, fire protection systems, and other essential equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage and supervise vendors and contractors for repair, maintenance, and installation work, ensuring timely and quality completion of tasks.
• Coordinate and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and disruptions in mall operations.
• Respond promptly to technical issues, breakdowns, and emergencies, implementing immediate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, including certifications, audits, and inspections.
• Monitor utility consumption (e.g., water, electricity) and recommend strategies to improve energy efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and equipment inventories.
• Collaborate with the mall's management team to support tenant requirements and address facility-related concerns.
• Provide technical insights for budgeting, procurement of parts/materials, and long-term infrastructure planning.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in hard services management, preferably in retail shopping malls or commercial properties.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, MEP, and facility operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, tenants, and contractors.
• Proficiency in building management systems (BMS) and facility management software is an advantage.

• Read detailed schematics for cabinets and executed assembly accurately.
• Helped with delivering and manually installing cabinets.
• Installed cabinets in residential homes.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Construction Industry
• Possess a certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisor (BCSS)
• Supervisory experience in foundation & structural works on site
• Able to work independently with a positive attitude
