About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Land Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Halex Construction Pte Ltd. The Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveys and providing accurate data for land reclamation projects. This role will involve working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure precise measurements, mapping, and surveying for land reclamation activities, including coastal and inland projects.

What you'll be doing

• Accountable for performing land surveys, preparation of data, collect and assess for construction works.
• Calculate survey data and setting-out survey points, coordinates and levels on site. This may include other projects.
• Carry out relevant site measurements for computation of interim and final quantities of work.
• Determine and implement procedures to establish survey control in ensuring accuracy of all survey data.
• Ensure that all surveying tasks are carried out with the highest level of precision and quality, adhering to company’s standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and drawings on site.
• Supervise and coordinate other site activities with Site/ Project Manager to achieve daily work schedules and to ensure compliance with specific requirements.
• Operate and maintain surveying instruments and equipment such as RTK, total station and auto level.
• Train and lead a small survey team.
• Attend site meeting with clients, consultants and sub-contractors.

What we're looking for

• Possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying.
• At least 3-5 years of experience.
• Willing to work islandwide (pending where the project is) and on-site.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of AUTOCAD and AUTOCAD Civil 3D software/similar.
• Experience in cartography.
• Independent, diligent and highly motivated.

Job Responsiblities:

• Collect daily job notifications from the Board’s officers at the start of each work day.
• Carry out site survey at customer’s premises in advance of actual meter fixing/removal/replacement works to assess site conditions (for example, no obstruction to meters, valves on water mains are as per plans).
• Site survey before meter fixing/removal/replacement job, supervision of contractor’s work
• Check and record initial readings on new meters and final readings on old meters, including photographic records

Minimally BCS - Safety Course under Work and Height manegement.

Preferably with fork lift license.

Job Descriptions:

• Review the safety management system and offer suggestions for enhancement.
• Implement and oversee the ECM Plan as per requirement.
• Collaborate closely to monitor earth control activities at different stages of the project.
• Manage on-site safety audits.
• Investigate incidents/accidents and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure staffs adhere to statutory acts, regulations, company safety protocols, and industry codes.
• Demonstrate effective communication abilities to interact with colleagues, clients, and governmental bodies.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health or equivalent
• Registered WSHO with ECO and ECMO

Job Description

1) Supervise the work of sub-contractors and work closely with other site operations staff to meet the project schedule.
2) Ensure that works are executed in accordance to specifications.
3) Coordinate with all M&E subcontractors to resolve all technical problems in order to achieve the desired overall project objective.
4) Work together with other project team members to coordinate/resolve technical issues.
5) Identify discrepancies between M&E, Structural, ID, Architectural and Client provisions.

Requirement

1) Minimum 3 years of experience as M&E Engineer in construction related field
2) Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or degree in relevant subject.

Job Description

• Supervise all engineering works, restricted activities civil, architectural, electrical and mechanical works carried out by the Contractors, SWCs, etc for all Works within the Railway Protection Zone

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years experience in the construction of civil and structure projects or related field ;
• Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board and is registered as Resident Engineer with Institution of Engineers Singapore ;

Job Description

• Responsible for construction planning and scheduling of materials, manpower, plants and equipments ;
• Projection and monitoring the progress of works ;
• Preparation of weekly / monthly progress reports ;
• Coordinate with project team to ensure activities are completed on time.

Job Requirement

• Degree / Diploma in construction related field ;
• Minimum 5 years of working experience as Planning Engineer
