Responsibilities

• Able to manage project with minimal supervision;

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Supervisor to oversee on-site activities during the night shift. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will monitor contractor performance, ensure adherence to safety and project timelines, and provide progress reports. This role involves managing subcontractors, coordinating with relevant authorities, and ensuring compliance with project design and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Construction Manager in overseeing and managing contractors on-site during overnight shift.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project timelines.
• Supervise the laying of foundations, steel structure erection, and roof cladding works to meet quality and design standards.
• Assist in managing subcontractors, coordinating their work schedules, and resolving on-site issues.
• Facilitate coordination between subcontractors, relevant authorities, and the facility management teams.
• Ensure contractors comply with any updates or changes to project designs and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high standards of safety and quality.
• Prepare and submit nightly progress and incident reports.
• Identify potential risks or delays and escalate them to the Construction Manager with proposed solutions.
• Ensure proper documentation of on-site activities, including work performed, safety checks, and any deviations from plans.
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability among contractors and workers.
• Act as the primary point of contact during night shifts for all site-related matters.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in construction supervision, preferably in structural and roof cladding projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage subcontractors and liaise with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in preparing reports and documentation.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to project demands.
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related field.

Job Description

• Ensure all construction works are performed on time and in compliance with all necessary standards, code of practice and safety regulations.
• Responsible for the supervision and coordination of works at construction site.
• Monitor progress, quality of workmanship.
• Supervise the work activity on site, monitor the progress and keep track based on schedule
• Supervise and coordinate of construction workers / operators in construction project
• To assist in prepare information to office to prepare progressive claims and VO.

Carry out day-to-day site operations and supervise construction workers.

Carry out inspection as well as resolving and monitoring rectification works.

Assist and support Engineers in carrying out works as assigned.

Supervise the construction of works and incorporation of materials and ensure that they are carried out in accordance with the Project Plan.

Assist the Engineers in ensuring that the works are carried out to schedule and in accordance to relevant regulations.

Ensure company’s safety rules are observed and obeyed.

Cooperating and communicating effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support Performing overall quality control of the work (schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and reporting regularly on project status.
