This role is similar to a (junior) chief of staff to the Co-founder (COO&CFO) of a Pre-A startup. Notwithstanding the job description listed below, your role would be anything and everything that the Co-founder is currently in charge of. DO NOT apply if you want a well defined routine, job scope, and if you prefer to know what will happen in the coming month. Also do not apply if you only want to do sales, strategy, and other "high level" stuff. There will be a mixture of everything that is not too technical (everyone else in the company is highly technical) and I need someone to offload my work. There will be times when you have to work on construction sites like everyone else in the company. It is hot, dirty, dusty, and overall not a pleasant experience. We do anything and everything necessary based on the ever changing situation. Either engineers with a strong business acumen or business school graduates with reasonable engineering interest can apply.
Fabrica AI is creating a future where ideating and developing a robot for any task takes days, not years. We believe that by training end to end controls in simulation with reinforcement learning and above that iterating hardware designs, we can automate the whole development process.
To validate our approaches for our AI system and to collect data, we invented an automatic tile grouting robot that boosts productivity by up to 5x and are piloting it on construction sites in Singapore managed by Woh Hup, BHCC, Gin Chia, Soilbuild, Chan Rong Fen, and Dragages. Tile grouting is the process of filling up the gaps between tiles after the tiles have been laid. We invented a patented robot that is able to automatically grout and clean tile gaps with only a press of a button.
We’ve raised over 3m USD from Hoxton Ventures, Credo Ventures, our Professor from Cambridge University, Woh Hup, ffVC, and the owner of BHCC (listed construction company). We’ve 2500sqft of space in Singapore where we have over 20 team members, and 1200sqft of space in Czechia where we have our software team.

- Assisting with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial candidate screenings.

- Connecting manufacturers and our product team to build and iterate on our prototype, creating new avenues for manufacturing at scale, manufacturing for reliability
- Website and other marketing/public relations management
- Any other operational duties
