• Monitor and ensure subcontractors comply with specified requirements.
• ldentify and comply with all applicable statutory regulatory requirements related to project.
• Identify possible risks to project and stakeholders as well as create contingency plans to mitigate these risks
• Respond swiftly to work delays, emergencies and other problems
• Clear communication to external parties including client, subcontractors, consultants, vendors etc. on project needs, requirements and schedule by means of daily construction oversight.
• Review all method statement of the activities ensuring safe execution and maximization of resources used for job efficient
• Complete task as assigned by Project Director
• Handling technical issues in projects with Technical Manager if necessary

Job Requirement

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Candidate must specialized in various building/facility project experience.
• Candidate should be also well-experienced and participate in project tender section.

Roles & Responsibilities

1.Generate detailed and accurate technical drawings based on project specifications.

2. Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure drawings meet quality standards and project requirements.

3. Revise and update drawings as necessary, incorporating feedback and changes.

4. Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all drawings.

5. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met.

6. Able to read plans accordingly and translate sketches to construction drawings. Able to generate shopdrawings for RFA submission to consultant and clients.

7. AutoCad Drafting Tasks

8. Familiar with P&S, M&E COP, SS codes. To be able to make corrections to drawings, highlight discrepancies to client and consultant.

9. Able to take off quantity from tender drawings.

10. Assist PM and PD in tender work.

11. Familiar with BCA, and other relevant SOR, Quantity Surveying work.

12. Able to work under rushed timeline especially for tender.

13. Familiar with Builders work and scope to ensure accuracy of Quantity Surveying work in relation to plumbing and sanitary.

Requirements

· Possess a Diploma/ Degree (or equivalent) in Civil/ Building/ Eletronics from a recognized Institution

· Min 2 Years of Experience or similar duties with fair knowledge of Construction Details and Process.

· Able to communicate efficiently in English

· Possess fair knowledge for Microsoft Words , Excel and Autocad

· Loading, packing and deliver goods to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner

· Able to work in nights and weekends to accomplish their duties

· Able to carry heavy loads

· Driving within and outside Construction Site

· Familiar with Singapore Roads and comply to Traffic Regulations,

· To Perform all Duties assigned by the Supervisor,

· To maintain the vehicles condition, perform basic preventive maintenance

• Job Scope
  This role requires a minimum of 2 years of construction site project management, preferably related to Doors.
• Must be able to work very independently while still being able to efficiently function in a team.
• Role also requires supervising site workers and liasing closely with clients' project managers.
• Will be fully accountable for overseeing site projects from start to handover.

Description

A long established sub-contractor in the BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION supply industry with leadership in the JOINERY sector currently has an opening for PROJECT MANAGER. (title will be dependent on the experience of the successful candidate)

This is a management level role supervising an internal team managing clients' projects. Experience in the Building and Construction Trade, particularly in Architectural works will be essential. The candidate must have managed cross functional teams covering scopes which may include but not limited to project management, project site coordination, architectural drafting, operations and administrative coordination

As this is a key management role, it will be the expectation too that the candidate will assume a level of leadership in company's strategic directions, constantly driving organisational, process and operational efficiencies and managing key clients' business relationships

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 – 8 years in the Building and Construction industry either in a main contractor or sub contractor role. Previous experience in Architectural, Joineries trade will be advantageous.
• Experienced in managing cross functional teams
• Skilled in external stakeholder management – especially managing business relationship and negotiations with main contractors
• Good knowledge of internal operations in a medium sized company with manufacturing and operational functions
• A Degree in related trade or equivalent years of industrial experience
