Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement workplace safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and national safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
• Provide safety training and education programs to employees and management, ensuring they are aware of safety best practices and protocols.
• Investigate and analyze accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend preventive measures to reduce the risk of future occurrences.
• Collaborate with relevant authorities and agencies to ensure the company's adherence to all safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate safety records, incident reports, and documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Monitor the effectiveness of safety programs and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for safety-related concerns and inquiries from employees and management.
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare employees for potential emergencies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant field, Experience in PUB Rehab (CIPP Lining for Drain Lines) projects are most preferred.
• Proven experience as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer or a similar role in the Construction Sector.
• In-depth knowledge of local and national safety regulations and standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve safety goals.
• Relevant certifications such as the WSQ WSH Officer, WSH Coordinator, or equivalent are preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures is a plus.
• Preference given to Candidates with ECO certification and driving license.
