* OBSERVE AND IMPLEMENT SITE SAFETY AT SITE;

* ENSURE WORKERS ADHERE TO SITE SAFETY ESPECIALLY ON SAFETY HELMETS AND HARNESS AND SAFETY HOOK AT ALL TIMES;

* UPDATE N AMEND SITE DRAWING WHEN REQUIRED;

* ATTEND WEEKLY SITE MEETING N RESOLVED SITE PROBLEMS, IF ANY;

* SUBMIT MONTHLY PROGRESS PAYMENTS WITH APPROVAL FROM ARCITECHS N M & E CONSULTANTS;

* PREPARE VO WHEN NECESSARY;

* PREFERABLY PROCESS AT LEAST CLASS 3 DRIVING LICENCE;

* RECOMMEND SITE SOLUTION FOR PROBLEMS AT SITE SUBJECT TO PM APPROVAL;

* CONDUCT TRAINING FOR NEW WORKERS WHEN REQUIRED;

* OBTAIN DAILY WORK ORDERS BEFORE ALLOWING WORKERS TO START WORK AT SITE.

Job Description

- Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation.

- To plan the job schedule for the workers and subcontractors.

- Monitor the progress of the job, record achievements and report to the manager.

- Troubleshoot any issues that occur on the construction site.

Requirements & Qualification

- Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Technical or Construction.

- Certifications in Project Management.

- Good planning, Leadership,and Problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, and monitor progress and performance against the project plan, managing day-to-day operations including manpower planning, construction progress monitoring, master schedule preparation, and cost control.
• Manage project costs within approved budgets, including materials, manpower, and machinery cost control for new and ongoing projects.
• Issue timely instructions to address delays or emergencies at construction sites.
• Play a key role in the conceptual development of various construction projects, overseeing organization, scheduling, and implementation.
• Review manpower planning and work schedules to ensure smooth operation and effective delegation of tasks, while enforcing safe and economical methodologies and project standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, relevant authorities, and developers to resolve site issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and all stakeholders to minimize errors and ensure smooth project completion.
