The role involves handling a comprehensive range of ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) or Electrical Quantity Surveyor duties throughout the project lifecycle. These include tendering, pre-contract, and post-contract administration. The job also covers reviewing contracts, performing quantity take-offs, preparing bills of quantities, sourcing materials and external supporting contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Possess extensive knowledge and experience in Electrical Systems, VRV systems, Multi-Split Systems, and Aircon Ducting/Ventilation/Electrical systems.
• Conduct tender surveying, document verification, and interpretation of drawings and specifications.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including quantity take-offs, and coordinate with clients and consultants.
• Collect, compile, and assess supplier quotations according to tender specifications.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all contractual matters.
• Independently manage costing to complete the entire tender process.
• Coordinate with suppliers, main contractors, sub-contractors, and fellow QS team members to prepare cost estimates for tender submissions.
• Address and follow up on client queries related to submitted tenders.
• Attend site briefings (when required) during pre-tender and tender interviews.
• Ensure timely submission of documents to clients and relevant authorities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing of drawings for all tenders and projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Quick learner with strong self-motivation and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
• Experience (5 years or more) in the ACMV/Electrical sector is preferred.
• Familiar with PSSCOC / SIA / REDAS and / or Singapore contract laws, Singapore Citizens and Malaysians with SG work experience of more than 5 years preferred.

Job Description
-To carry out taking off quantities;
-To source quotations for relevant trade works including price comparison and cost analysis;
-Ability to raise tender queries/ design discrepancies timely for clarification;
-Ability to handle tender correspondences and addendum to update changes made to tender documents;

Requirements:
Possess Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying;
