Job Responsibilities (M&E QS)
· Responsible for the full suite of M&E Quantity Surveyor duties, from tender to pre-contract, post contract administration duties such as: review of contracts, quantity take-offs, preparing bills of quantities, sourcing and selecting of subcontractors, particularly for M&E disciplines;
· Formulate procurement strategy; prepare tender documentations, cost reports and cost plans; administer tender process; evaluate tenders and submit tender recommendation reports;
· Review variation request order; assess the associated variation costs, monthly financial report; process of progress payment and final account;
· Work closely with the Project Team to provide cost and financial advice as well as contractual support and advice during pre-construction, construction and post construction stage.
Requirements
· Recognized degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical & Electrical Engineering with relevant working experience as M&E QS in interiors fit-out, M&E projects.
. Preferably for M&E QS with both ID and M&E experience
· Possess minimum 2 years of working experience in Project Tendering/Costing experience
· Strong technical background with sound knowledge of pre- and post-contract duties
· Good working knowledge of forms/conditions of contract
· Able to work independently and be a good team player as well
· Possess excellent people skills with the ability to integrate within a multi-disciplinary team and communicate with external consultants and clients
