Key Responsibilities

Pre-Construction Stage

• Assists in preparing the key commercial control documents such as the Procurement Schedule, Cashflow Forecast and Margin Improvement Strategy to ensure the project is well planned.

• Holding Certificate in WSH Coordinator Course/ Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course and/or any Relevant Safety Certificates from any approved institutions will be preferred.
• Registered as Workplace Safety & Health Officer and Environmental Control Officer with at least five (5) years of post-registration and practical experience relevant to the scope of works of the contract.

Job Descriptions

• Actively conduct risk assessments at project site and recommend measures to minimize and eliminate possible risks to any person.
• Monitoring and verifying that the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) is adhered to at all times and taking action if the specifications are not followed.
• Keeping records of all activities/incidents concerning the environment on site and issuing of spot fines for transgression of activities identified in the EMP.
• Work closely with different teams to implement and maintain a strong safety regime on site.
• Conduct toolbox meeting and ensure the permit to work system in place.

• Reporting to the WSH Manager, you will liaise closely with Project Managers on workplace safety, health and environmental issues to maintain a high level of safety at the sites.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Safety, Health and Environment Management or other relevant subjects

Duties & Responsibility:

• Able to cut, repair and fabricate TBM cutters in a dedicated cutter workshop.
• Servicing and maintenance of tunnel equipment, compressor and cooling system for TBM
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management
• Manage spare parts and check inventory
• Ensure work activities are carried out in safe working environments
• Other ad-hoc activities as assigned by immediate Supervisor / Management

Requirements:

• Possess certificate in Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the tunnelling industry with TBM
• Sufficient knowledge on handling and repairing of TBM cutters.
