Job Description:

• Prepare and develop detailed drawings, models, and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM software, in line with project specifications and guidelines.
• Interpret project specifications, construction drawings, and other design documentation to create detailed models that align with project goals and BIM standards
• Collaborate with the BIM Coordinator and project teams to ensure accurate modelling, incorporating revisions and updates as needed.
• Ensure all models and drawings are accurate, up-to-date, and conform to client requirements, project specifications, and internal standards.
• Modify BIM models as per feedback from other team members, including engineers, architects, coordinators, to reflect any design changes or site conditions
• Assist in the coordination of BIM models with other trades, such as C&S, and M&E to avoid clashes and ensure seamless integration.
• Provide technical support with regard to modelling.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, processes, systems, reporting, and procedures as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Preferably with a minimum of 2 years relevant working experience in the local construction industry.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in Revit (Architecture, MEP, Structure) will be added bonus.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the following:

• Lead and manage project supervisors to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Ensure adherence to project budgets, schedules, and scope of work, while deploying appropriate staff resources.
• Review and assess project drawings, plans, specifications, and other relevant documents.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues arising during project execution and implement timely resolutions.
• Conduct and actively participate in weekly site meetings to monitor project progress.

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor or Contracts Manager in overseeing all quantity surveying tasks related to Sub-Contracts, Works Orders, and Purchase Orders for assigned projects.

• Manage contractual and costing matters, such as verifying invoices for payment, assessing contractors' claims for variation works, extension of time, loss and expense, final account and handling of contractual disputes.

• Based on information provided, update variation in claims, projects handover dates

• Submit and monitor monthly and final project claims

• Address concerns regarding payment claim breakdown formats/ amounts, invoicing, variation orders, final accounts, etc.

• Channelling other enquiries to the respective persons-in-charge

• Ensuring proper filing and storage of related documents (e.g., certificates, variation orders, Engineer's Instructions, Statements of Final Account, etc.).

• Obtain Monthly Progress Reports by deadline

• To liaise with relevant Dept for IFCA activity code cost to date and budget monitoring

• Ensure prepared subcontract agreement scope of work, pricing etc in order

• Responsible for detailed and accurate measuring quantity and taking off

• Sourcing materials and send quotation inquiries to the vendors and subcontractors, comparison of quotes, review of prices, to ensure comply to contract requirement

• Liaise and carry out evaluation and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors

• Study, identify and highlight discrepancies in tender/contract documents

• To perform price comparison and quotation evaluation
