Or,

• Minimum 5 years working experience in quantity surveying, construction engineering or related field.

The M&E Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all cost and contractual issues on main contract as well as sub-contracts connected to the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Responsible for preparing progress payment claims, variation orders, project budgets & cost control and settlement of final account.
• Responsible for pre- & post-contracts administration and control.
• Conduct survey works during project tender stage.
• Produce pre-tender estimation, preparation of tender documents and maintenance of project documents.
• Source for suppliers and request for quotations.
• Conduct tender exercise such as selection of bidders, tender documentation, evaluation of tender submission and award of contract to successful bidder.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of M&E Quantity Surveying experience.
• Familiar with relevant drawings, specifications and details.
• Experience in civil infrastructure project is an added advantage.

The C&S Engineer is responsible for liaising with consultants to develop the structural works and support tender team to prepare technical submission.

Responsibilities:

• To work with the C&S consultants to develop a structural scheme for structures and buildings
• To carry out engineering analysis to assess the structures' stability and load to be sustained
• To prepare temporary works design for construction activities
• To prepare a technical submission and project quality plan for tender projects
• To carry out engineering design according to Eurocodes or relevant international design codes
• To prepare a submission to authorities for approval of design
• Provide technical advice to team members/colleagues in supporting or leading roles and embrace a culture that values teamwork
• To attend project meetings with Clients and Consultants from other disciplines
• To attend site progress meetings and reply to technical queries

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• A minimum of 2-5 years of working experience in a local engineering consulting company or in CW01 A1 general contractor company as C&S Engineer
• Experience of tender (technical part including ERSS Plan, Site Utilization Plan, Construction methodology etc) - Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures
• Competent user of relevant engineering software(Microsoft Project, Power Point etc)
• Able to interact and work with colleagues and members of other consultants at various level
